  1. that actually looks really good
  2. I actually just used this today for the iphone 3gs and I worked great, but took a little long to measure shots and for me just was too slow to wait on
  3. i love this game but because of the quality of the graphics can definitely be lag on slower connections
  4. not a chance...
  5. not sure about $30, but just today I saw some 3DX ironwoods at dicks, some with steel and some with graphite shafts, selling right now for $39. Just had to act like I didnt see it, have too many books to buy for fall semester
  6. I was wondering about this as well, I have a CG11 with the spin milled face and I get decent spin off it and was wondering if the "zip grooves" really had any benefit compared to regular or spin milled wedges such as mine. has anyplace done testing for this or is it just marketing?
  7. as soon as the thought enters my mind?
  8. I just order my grips online and take them to dicks or wherever and it usually works out
  9. i got the TMX stand, i posted it but i guess it got deleted, i think it was about 145 on ebay, where is it available for 100? I love it by the way
  10. I dont think this problem has as much to do with the stiffness of your shaft as it does the kickpoint. You should probably go to a mid/high kickpoint stiff shaft and that will help keep your ball down
  11. I like the show, has some good tips most times. I prefer "Playing Tips With the Pros" though..... more real life uses
  12. i'd like to bump this thread up to see what you ended up doing for a shaft? I'm kind of in the same position, looking at the same shaft matter of fact and saw those on ebay for a good price (the pulled shafts that is) and wondering if anyone had any experience with them?
  13. EXACTLY. a day in jail and having to deal with the shit they put you through in the legal/corrections system is DEFINITELY not worth any words. until they put a hand on you, keep em to yourself, nothing good comes from it
  14. definitely saw two coyotes on the course today
  15. thats actually pretty awesome
  16. see, i've bought and played balls of different varieties, but none as soft as the callaway tour ix or i and balls that are super soft such as those are what i'm concerned about, the other recycled balls i've played have felt fine to me though
  17. I chose Odyssey over Scotty for the same reason i chose it over the anser and so many others, because I like the feel of the insert putters better than the harsh(IMO) feel of the metal face.......side note, I really really want one of those odyssey black series
  18. you know, I dont have one personally, mine was around 120 new, i got it used, but I have tried many of the putters you are speaking of and have friends who have scotties but it is all a confidence/status thing. If someone feels like the putter of whatever price is going to help them putt.....then it will...... thats really all there is to it, we all know how big a factor confidence plays in this game. Unless they just like having a more expensive piece of equipment in their bag
  19. I was thinking about getting a couple dozen of those recycled Callaway Tour ix balls from lostgolfballs or somewhere else, and was wondering if any of you have tried them. My concern was that the "recycling" process might deteriorate the soft covers of the better balls like this one. I really like the feel of these softer premium balls and would love to be able to save some green on some. If any of you have tried them i'd like to know if the cover is in the same condition like new..... thanks
  20. yea, exactly, it is only for getting fitted, but its not like getting fitted for other clubs, all you do is adjust the height and the lie until it feels good to you, then find a putter that fits those dimensions, this whole "get fitted" thing people are taking a little far, its not that complicated, esp. for a putter....
  21. I think you might be paying a little bit too much attention to what other people are doing with their equipment, like so many other people do, when their game and equipment choices probably have no relevance in your real life game. To the OP, If that is what works for you, more power to you, stick with what you know works, if thats a 42" shaft, go for it, good luck man
  22. I would suggest bypassing all the extra work that was mentioned above by some and just go to dicks or the PGA store or somewhere similar where they have an adjustable fitting putter such as the ping that i tried and just see what feels right for yourself, there honestly shouldnt be any cost or long process involved in seeing what feels good for your putter stroke.....
