Yes it is. Have you seen signs that say "You Break it You Buy It"? Well they messed it up so they bought it. All of this could have been avoided had they done the job properly. Also the new club is not acting as a loaner, the OP is keeping that driver and the shop is keeping the one that they scratched up. It seems fair to me.
It's not the same situation and it is not of the same magnitude. Also its not just that they made the mistake, but that he warned them of that very mistake and they still were careless enough to do it anyway. He may not have deserved a new club but he did deserve the SAME club that he brought in and the only way that they could satisfy that is by giving him a new one. It is what it is.
Yes I read the entire post and all of your subsequent replies to the post. The fact is that he went into the shop to get his club re-shafted. He did not go in there to lose his club for two weeks because of their carelessness. It doesn't matter if he didn't "need" the club or if he could wait two weeks, the point is he had the right to his club in its original condition at the time they said it would be finished. When he got there it wasn't as it was supposed to be and he was entitled to what he brought in.
I completely agree. They caused the damage and therefore it is their job to fix it. Other posters act as if the shop was doing you some sort of favor by offering you a used replacement that wasn't the same as yours. However that is not the case, they were doing what they were obligated to do which is fix their mistake. You did nothing wrong in this situation.
Well seeing as linebacker Ray Lewis was involved in a fight where two men were stabbed to death and he is still beloved by fans, I believe that Vick should be forgiven. Lewis only ended up with a plea bargain and probation.
I say that he has served his time and therefore he has payed his debt to society and will defintely never do it again. If my team (steelers) signed him I would still root for them and feel like that got an excellent athlete. Just my 2 cents.
I currently have a 43'' Belly Putter and I like the putter itself however I no longer like the "belly" aspect. Has anyone here ever cut a long putter down to a regular size such as 34"? Any advice?
Yeah Tommy was born in my hometown and there always seems to be stories about his great rounds around here. But yeah he wears two gloves all the time, even when putting. Its crazy!
My biggest piece of advice would be to play alot and practice as much as possible in the beginning to build up calouses. Also the internet is you're friend and there is an insane amount of tabs, lessons and videos at your disposal.
Does anybody at any time wear two golf gloves?
Sometimes I wear two when practicing or if I have been playing like 4 days in a row and have been hitting numerous balls in a short period of time. I was just curious to see if anyone else does the same or If I'm just kinda weird.
Man, there sure is alot to complain about isn't there? I'm really not trying to be rude, but it seems like these threads are always popping up. If there are so many of "these golfers" why even play at all?
Oh yeah I forgot to actually answer, my bad. When I start playing well, I go from being jovial and talkative to quiet and reserved. Idk how to describe it but its like I just begin to concentrate more and just focus. However this only lasts around 4 holes a round.
I tried a C-05 in a store today and I was blown away by not only its craftsmanship but also its excellent feel. I will definitely be taking budgetgolf up on its sale.
