my wife and i were watching the pres cup and i thought about all the clothes these guys wear during the course of the year. most of them wear some pretty good stuff. i can't imagine they wear the same thing more than once or at least a couple of times. tiger probably just once. they don't take them to goodwill, i'm sure they don't throw them away. what do they do with them?

i always wear brown or black. all times of the year. white shoes distract me when i am putting. and i can't afford any distractions.

i recently bought a new tour edge exotics xcg 3 wood. it is probably my favorite club already. just great. i liked it so much, i started looking on line for a driver. i found and bought one on ebay. the tour edge exotics xld 10.5 driver. got it new for 84 dollars. a steal has anyone had any experience with this club. if it is half the club the 3 wood is it is a steal for the money.

countours are the most comfortable golf shoes i have ever wore. just break them in and they will be just fine. i have had 4 pair of contours and loved them.

i just got a tour edge xcg 3 wood, 15 degree aldilla stiff shaft. i have never hit a more solid club ever. i have had it for a little more than a week and it has become my favorite club. the ball flight is a rope wherever i aim it. and about 20 yards more distance i also just bought a g15 and i love it as well. much more distance with it as well.

i used one as a putting ball for a long time. extremely soft. i also agree about giving a ball to a kid to unravel. just be ready to clean up the mess. when i was a kid it was an urban legend that the ball in the center was filled with acid. we broke one and thought we were going to burn up.

i just bought a ping g15 9* driver. it has the stiff stock shaft in it. i really like the way the ball comes off the club, it is 15 to 20 yards farther than my old 983k but it flies a bit too high and fades slightly to the right. both very minor i know but i would like to hear some suggestions on some differnent shaft options that might lower my ball flight at least. very picky i know but i'm a golfer.

i have a two bar rife putter. i like it. i can live without it though. anything say 6 to 15 feet it is dead on. an occasional pull probably but that can be corrected. our course has several pin positions that require a putt that will break a foot or better on a three to four foot length. very touchy putt. with this putter i have no feel for delicate big swingers, right or left. for me it is a putter that is very solid but with very little feel for the delicate putts.

i had a set of s2h2 irons back in the day and they were without a doubt the most favorite set of irons i've ever had. they were stolen out of my car, along with my car, and i couldn't find a new set. play them. you may really enjoy them. oh, as for my car, it was found empty in the middle of downtown with a flat tire and 32 parking tickets on it two weeks later. i asked the police if the 32nd ticket was top level indicator of a problem or just the dead givaway. what morons.

I have a partially finished upstairs and I got a good driving net. I can't hit woods but I can hit all my irons. I also bought a good mat to hit off of. Here in KY we can usually play year round, if you don't mind the 40's temperature wise. but it is great to go upstairs and swing a few when weather or boredom come calling.

some great options have been listed. my favorite is palm springs. we go there every year in february for a week. great weather, location and exceptional golf. even a casino or two. my wife and i are going to st petersburg fl the week you are talking about after thankgiving. we will play golf a few times while we are there. there are some pretty good courses around tampa, st pete/clearwater down to sarasota. we always have good weather that time of the year. 75 to 80 degrees.

great information. i am currently involved in the quest for a better driver. i hit the 983 k but would like to find an extra 10 yards somewhere. i am trying the 905t right now.

i spent a few days at orange county national. two fantastic courses. q school was there i beleive. highly recomend

i bought the rife putter a year and a half ago and i loved it. i was dead on from 15 feet to 4 feet. there was where the trouble started. i seemed to pull everything. i had a offset shaft on my putter. just no touch with a short putt. we all know what its like to have no confidence in a four footer. the rife now resides in my car trunk with some other misbehaving clubs.
