  1. Yep - I was in a similar boat... same pings for the past 10 years.. and only played once or twice the past few years. I went and hit a million clubs (most of what are listed here) and found the X18R's the most forgiving as well as just nice to hit. I've played 4 rounds on them in the past month and just love the decision I made
  2. the best part is the spelling of sunglasses - sunglases on the site. Polarized is always on the lense itself too and not a one of those photo's show it.
  3. Agree with the other replies... however I did buy this same club new for $99 from GPP last week. I hit it GREAT but replaced an old 4-5 yr old Nike Driver.
  4. Ripped the Burner up yesterday.. Everyone in the group took at least one swing with it and loved the results. You almost can't mishit the club (ie. duff a drive). You still can hook/slice with any existing bad habits but it has some carry... On a 465 yd par 5...after my drive left about 140 to the center of the green. Probably 280 in the air and 40ish yds on the roll but still I normally average 250-270, but this club can rock in your bag toO!
  5. my order showed up but I ditched the R9460 and went cheap to the 07 Burner (i hit it better!) + new monza bag + 2 dozen balls.
  6. I agree - gppgolf.com has a ton of deals on bags. I stepped up and bought the Taylor Monza & it arrived yesterday. Awesome quality for the price!
  7. I 2nd the notion to check out the Callaway's. Try them all X18's, X20's, and X22's. I bought the 18's and kill these clubs... best decision I made in 10 years (how long I was playing my ping ISI's)
  8. save your pennies and hit a bunch of different sets... I love my new irons.
  9. I recently picked up a set of x18r's myself.. and I love them!
  10. I had a similar dilema with the same exact gap. I plugged in a pair of Cleveland wedges (CG12s) which aren't the latest out there but picked both up for less than the price of just about anything out there. I grabbed a 52* and had it adjusted to a 50* and added a 60* for the good shots. Unfortunately I bought these today with my x18r's so I can't report 1st hand, however I'm sure someone else has them and can chime in.
  11. just bought x18r's today from golf galaxy... couldn't get the great feeling out of my head from yesterday. Can't wait get on the course... might have to squeeze 9 in this week after work.
  12. I hit both today.. but loved the 18s/20s considerably.... I found the TM hybrid to hit better than the cobra, but again this is for me.
  13. $3.99/month, or $1.99 per use... and I think some kind of free trial.
  14. I don't know about on the Iphone, but I've used it on multiple verizon phones (env touch, env 3) and seems to be pretty good.
  15. Did you hit the x18? I hit all 3 today (18/20/22) and honestly there was a difference, but I loved the 18 the most. (it wasn't the $$). Didn't pull the trigger yet but very much considering...
