  1. Sure, will do tonight. I will try to post the images on this thread for all to see and comment, but if it fails I will email them to you.
  2. Willing to replicate lol?
  3. I just learned today that Dick's owns Golf Galaxy, atleast thats what the guy at Dick's said. But yea, Dick's selection on anything golf is limited for the most part.
  4. I have a set of Taylor Made RAC OS2's (2005) sitting in my garage with stiff flex. This is a nice iron for mid-high handicappers and I baby my clubs, so the condition is great. PM me for more info. if interested.
  5. Only the winterized gloves in colder weather near the end of the season.
  6. Dear that golfer, Please get up, laying on the green like Camilo Villegas doesnt make you read putts better, you look stupid and your in my line.
  7. Note: I have had three shafts in this thing. I am almost possitive its not a shaft thing. The two shafts I have bought were both "fitted"
  8. Though I know different drivers suit different people, but I need help narrowing some down. I currently have an MX-500 which has too much loft for me. It was a great deal at the time and I couldnt pass it up, but it isnt for me. My top choices right now are: Taylor Made R7 Superquad Mizuno Mp-600 Which other drivers should I consider? I am looking for control, distance has never been a problem for me. Thoughts? Thanks!
  9. The best part about scrambles is letting your team get a ball in play off the tee then you get to be MANLY on your drive lol..
  10. I shoot my best playing with people better than me, I shoot my worst when I am playing with people a lot worst than me. The better players force me to compete. The worse players make me not take it seriously.
  11. Agreed. 9 characters
  12. Was he wearing a cut-off shirt too? lol
  13. Keeping your head over the ball is okay if you are in balance. If you are in balance and your head is NOT over the ball that is okay too. The video I posted explains this well. If you are out of balance you will not put on the same plane.
  14. Do you swing fast for those 6.5? or you just like the lower flight?
  15. That's understandable, but it seems like all the club manufacturers are putting PX flighted shafts in the irons in the warehouse. All the new irons with PX shafts seem to be flighted unless specifically ordered not to be. Wonder Why..
  16. Sounds pretty accurate, especially the ballooning part.
  17. According to your HC, your pretty damn good. Why do you hit the X-18/X-22 over say the X-Forged? Aren't the X-Forged more of a players type club?
  18. I need something to compare to here. About what launch angle for a 3Iron would constitute getting the flighted over the non flighted? Layman's terms: How high is too high? Don't hold me to it, but while I was in the simulator with a 6.0 flighted 3Iron I believe my launch angle was 17* Is that considered too high or just right? With my current irons with non-Project X shafts I don't believe I hit my 3Iron "Low", I could hit it better though. Any thoughts?
  19. Well, I am in the market for some irons. Currently I have some very forgiving, hacker irons I call them. (TM Rac OS2). I hate them haha. I throw darts with my brothers and fathers thinner irons and am looking for a set of my own. One of my golf buddies and I narrow down a small list of irons that I should look at and it is as follows: Callaway X-Forged Cleveland Reds Some Mizuno (57 or 60 probably) So my questions for the board are: 1. Which of the three would you pick (if you pick the mizuno, which model?) 2. Is there a set NOT on the list that I should heavily consider? Honestly I am pretty set on the X-Forged, but I want to consider all options and opinions before hand so I don't make an expensive mistake. Thanks! P.S. I would attempt to get the Project X 6.0 Shafts in these, whether they are the flighted shafts or not, I don't know enough about them to make that decision at this time. -Patrick
  20. If you are having distance problems, maybe you should not be worrying so much about making the put as much as you should for having a second put tap in. If you are hiting it past the hole 6ft, there is still some pretty good meat on that bone for a par put for a GIR. My father always taught me that when I have a lengthier put, where the odd in me making it were pretty low, I should imagine a HulaHoop around the hole and try to hit it within the roughly 3ft diameter. Then, once I get the speed down, then I could dial in the hole. Also when you are reading your put look at it from three different angles: 1. behind the ball going towards the hole 2. behind the hole looking back towards the ball 3. While you are walking to the two different locations stop in the middle and look at how long the put actually is. This will give you a little more information on how hard to hit it. It at least mentally helps me. Coming from the inside could possibly be a balance issue, which I believe is discussed in the below video. I also take a couple practice strokes while looking at the hole for distance. Take a peak at this too, this is a great video on putting, especially for aligning and speed:
  21. I was killed today at my home course (cardinalclub.cc). The majority is a links type course and it was windier than Scottland has been the last couple days. 84 43/41
  22. I have only hit the vokeys and if I had the $$$ I would switch in a heartbeat from my cleveland wedges.
  23. I believe balata balls will give you more spin than that of the newer balls though. So you may compromise distance for a higher spinning ball. IMO the worst you can do is try them..
