Welcome Back, I am in the same boat as you.Just started getting back into golf this year after not playing for about 10yrs.Boy has everything changed!but I am having a lot of fun not scoring real well but starting to hit the ball good.

I played greenview once. I have played Green Hlls several times and I really like that course.We played Indian Hills for the first time about 3-weeks ago and I liked it.It was in pretty good shape not too bad,but at $18.00 for 18 holes and a cart on a saturday I would play there again.

You are correct I live in Valier (sesser-valier school)I work in Benton.I am a member at the benton country club.I played several times at red hawk and rend lake.We played kokopelli in marion a couple of weeks ago and we went to the gambit in vienna last sat.Been to hickory ridge a few times.I hear Salem has a nice course?

No,I live near SIUC.I live about 20-25 minutes north of carbondale.

My old 7-iron Ram laser Fx about 160-165 yards.My new 7-iron about 180 yards.(Taylormade R7's)Now,If I could just hit my driver 300yards.

Been there and done that on a 3 tiered green not a lot of fun.

I bought a set of R7 irons with stiff steel shafts.My old irons were Ram Laser FX which I played for about 18+ years

I just bought a set of the R7's.I have only played 4-times with them and I love them.A big improvement over my Ram Laser FX's.Although I liked my Ram's and played them for 18+years.The big thing I noticed is that I have increased about 2 clubs in distance and I really don't know why.

Hey Guy's I am new to the forum,But not new to golf started playing when I was 14.That's 22 years ago now!I haven't played much in the past 8-10 years for various reasons, But I'm back playing this year and having a great time.I just bought a set of R-7 irons and my wife(god love her!)bought me a Taylormade Tour burner driver .

Waterworks sales.We sell fire hydrants,gate valves,water meters,pvc pipe,etc.Pretty much anything water or sewer related we sell it.We mainly deal with cities,water dist and companies and underground contractors.

Hey Guy's I know this is my first post so I am a newbie to this forum.BUT I just have to ask I don't see the problem with hitting a 7-iron 175+ yards.I just bought a new set of irons and played 4 rounds with them.I have gained 2clubs in distance I used to hit my 5-iron 180yards now I am hitting a 7-iron.Is this unusal?I'll hit a 5-iron 200yds,pw 150yds.
