  1. Its been a while since I posted anything new. Please, any input and criticism is welcomed... 09' Taylormade Burner 3 wood Nike CPR 22* 09' Taylormade Burner Driver 10.5 Stiff
  2. No lie my driving wasnt that much on an issue. Im a righty and yes my weight is mostly on the back during the backswing. My fats shots were very common because of it. Im starting to learn how to keep my lower body as quite as possible because I use to straighten out my right knee so much that on my backswing, my upper body would lean back and cause my to skull my ball. Also, my head would drop down alot too that I would be out of balance
  3. Finally went out to the course for the first time today. I was able to unleash my new 09 TM burner 10.5 S and I couldnt ask for anything better. My drives today were dead on with an average of 250-280 yards square down the pipe. A few turned out bad but not bad enough to find my ball. One big problem that really got to me today was hitting alot of my shots fat. I probably got on the green under par maybe 3 times today which is sad. The one thing I did notice is during my downswing is my weight transferred to my right which caused alot of my shots to be fat. Does this sound right or am I just finding excuses to blame my clubs. LOL.
  4. Just came back from this local golf show and was wondering what everyone thought... Please share It was definitely worth the $10 and pick up a few things.
  5. I just saw him playing TPC. It was a replay but he was shooting 1 over par.
  6. http://www.sportsauthority.com/produ...entPage=family Will I havent read enough about it. Just curious on who has it and what are your thoughts?
  7. I was watching an episode of Golf Fix and I saw an episode of butch Harmom giving some tips. On the driver lesson, this person had problems with slicing the ball. Butch mentioned a term "turning your hands inward" during impact. He says it helps the face of the club square up to the ball during impact. Can someone explain this because i actually tried it at the course and the results were somewhat promising. I drove the ball straight as an arrow.
  8. I was sold a guerin rife Barbados mallet putter center shafted 34' for $50 from a doctor friend. I haven't read alot of reviews besides a few positives on the putter. I was wondering if anyone in this forums has this putter and I would appreciate your review and thoughts.
  9. Well just trying out my new Ping g5 irons and still getting use to them. Here are some updated S&T; vids and let me know what you guys think. Iacas, I know your out there and your opinion is much appreciated and so does everyone elses. I noticed some major flaws IMO that Im noticing already such as my wrist bending too much but im sure there are alot more.
  10. This is a reason why I asked alot of people's opinion on stuff like this.
  11. I have an oppurtunity to purchase a great set of g5's but here are some things that I'm worried about. Pros: 1. for the price of $280, the used set is in great condition and will be adjusted for my swing and lie. 2. It's a graphite shaft so the weight will be alot lighter 3. it's a regular flex cons 1. after going through the ping website online custom fitting, it said I needed a black dot with a stiff shaft. This used set is a blue dot with a regular flex/graphite shaft 2. will the adjusting of the clubs damage anything does the price sound good escially when he is throwing in the free adjusting of the irons. Meaning, he will adjust them according to my swing. 3. Also, will the graphite regular flex shaft affect my swing? Thanks guys and all opinions are welcomed.
  12. im actually going out tomorrow at temps ranging 30+ but windchill around 16 in nj. Planning on walking so ill be wearing sweatpants, thermal shirt underneath my adidas shirt and this...
  13. Iacas beat me too it. I found my Joby Gorrila DLSR at a Pennsylvania wallmart for 30 and the tripod cost originally $50. A great flexible tripod and easy to bring around. I actually attach it to my push cart and take vids of my swing. Get it!
  14. Lets put it this way, he's not out of the " woods " yet
  15. KEVIN!!! Wow!
  16. These vids are my first vids on trying out S&T; and I noticed that my weight shift was a bit more in the front and the back, but hey, this is how I learn. Recently this past Sunday, I took the weight back a little bit and felt more 55/45the whole day and kept my hands in and turning my left shoulder down more. What a difference in my game. I played the blues for the first time and I shot a 106 so im very happy IMO. Once I get back out, I will take more vids and definitely post.
  17. Here are some from yesterday... 3 wood Pitching Wedge
  18. as of today, I exaggerated keeping my hands inside more helping my left shoulder turn more. A bit uncomfortable, but what a difference in my game today. I maybe pulled, sliced and hooked from the tee box at least 5 times today. Most were still playable. Although im still not comfortable with my driver, my recent purchase of my TM Burner 3 wood was well worth the purchase. Along with my found pro-v1's, I blasted most of my shots more than 220 yards. Farther than my driver. Also Iacas, I stopped most of the head bobbing and kept my head over the ball without bouncing around and also helped. Didnt have my vid cam, but next time I go out, i will take more vids.
  19. it was about 55/45 it looks alot but it really wasnt
  20. Putting weight on the front is what S&T; is about. Read the basics on S&T; and and you will see what its all about. IMO, it definitely helped me connect with more solid shots, penetrating low shots, and my accuracy has gotten alot better thats if I make solid contact with the ball. Ive got alot to work on, trust me As for instructions, I purchased the Stack and Tilt Book and watched a few youtube vids here and there.
  21. thanks bro...ill be sure to take vid once im out again I havent really figured out the whole handicap scoring thing. The best score I had so far was 102 on a par 71. LOL
  22. Here's my Stack and Tilt Swings...Definitely have alot of room for improvement Front View 6 iron Rear view 26* Nike CPR Hybrid Front View 8 Iron shot
  23. Went out today utilizing the S&T; technique. As of today, im a 100% believer and now converted over to the new swing. I'm still struggling with a little bit of a sway and hooked only once today. I love the ball flight with my solid contact and using my TM burner 3wood. I had shots way over 210 yards and made it on a 200 yard par 3 hole with one shot. Im almost finished with the book but i'm sure ill be reading it over and over again. I shot my personal lowest with a 98 and only took 2 mulligans (1 in the front and 1 in the back). I cant wait to go back out again.
  24. Later Blake...Oh and thanks for damaging the green
