  1. The pro striker looks like a great training aid, and i'll look into picking it up. I'm also working on not overswinging. I have plenty of distance, I've always struggled with going after it too hard. I used the basketball drill, but I have trouble feeling the correct lower body movement in the downswing. I'm thinking that not going so hard at the ball from the top will give me better feel for my lower body through the ball.
  2. I've recently been hitting the ball fat, and always have issues with comfort in the backswing. any more analysis would be much appreciated!
  3. Thanks for the link. I'm going to work on these points, i especially like the tip using the basketball.
  4. any help at all would be appreciated so much!
  5. To start out, I would like to apologize for the quality of the videos I'm forced to use here. I'll work on getting better videos, and with varied clubs. I've fought a sway for many years now, so I've been really focusing on swinging around the right leg, keeping it flexed throughout the backswing. I have a tendency to swing up, and not drive down and through the ball. I also tend to start my downswing with my upper body. I've been working hard the last few weeks with leading the downswing by clearing my hips first and letting my arms naturally trail the lower body. a DTL, and a front angle vid are posted below, anything at all is more than welcomed, critiques, drills, general idea, absolutely anything. I'm going to train very hard in this off season to get ready for next year. Thanks for your time!
  6. Thanks. Eastmoreland looks perfect!
  7. I'm taking a couple legitimate first timers out to play in the PDX area this coming Sunday. Can you guys give me any info on a good course for first timers? We were going to go to camas meadows, but it looks a little spendy/tough for first time players. Any advice on a venue would be more than appreciated.
  8. cool pics, thanks for sharing
  9. greg norman clean picked a driver off of a cart path, quite an impressive shot.
  10. stretching multiple times a day will help you in your future rounds. it's not just warming up 30 minutes before a round, it's keeping your body limber all the time that's important. I can't stress enough how important flexibility and being limber is to not only your golf swing, but your overall health.
  11. the "average" golfer isn't going to benefit much from copying this exact workout. you have to be in very good shape to even begin to try these exercises, some of which could cause harm if you're not careful. workouts are like golf swings, you have to do what's best for your strength/fitness level, and not try to do things that are outside of your comfort level.
  12. ye played very well and deserved to win. tiger essentially played scared in the last 2 rounds, coupled with worse than normal putting for him, sealed his fate.
  13. paddy putted like a champ, going to be tough to beat this week if he can keep it up. iacas can you explain a bit about what happens in the touring vans?
  14. probably at least 24 balls
  15. what an episode (aug 02) we know about mary-anne's origin, we get a glimpse of godric, and jason looks to be in trouble. can't wait until next week as always
  16. wow the last barkley swing when he's in the red shirt, just painful to watch, really feel sorry for charles.
  17. i'd play out my best round ever for sure, besides who cares if you're late picking up a chick you might not even seal the deal with.
  18. yes phil ivey the #1 poker player. He reportedly wanted to play $500k a hole vs michael jordan, and jordan declined as he couldn't afford it.
  19. big fan of tru blood. it's filling the deep void that is left w/o lost. layfayette is an amazing character, and i wish he got more screen time. i'm pretty excited to see the "present" godric on screen as well.
  20. 5 iron, 6 iron if it was a flyer lie if it's buried i'd take something like an 8 iron and just smash it out
  21. tiger woods, been following him since his very early days. say what you will about him, but his junior golf accomplishments are what stand out most for me in his career. close #2 is phil ivey :)
  22. my first post :) I really love this story, and David Feherty. Figured i'd post the video so people could see the swing, really remarkable.
