  1. I tend to stay away from golf branding while on the course. I have about 4 different visors that I wear (WVU, Titans, Adidas and Hilton Head National). I guess the Adidas one is kind of golf branding, but I was a big Adidas fan before I even started playing golf. Shirts match the visor I am wearing, none of which are golf related, I guess minus the Adidas. And my shorts are Dockers
  2. Thanks Shanks.
  3. I have picked up some very helpful things in this thread, thanks guys. I recently started working out, and am trying to eat right. I have lost a total of 8 pounds in 6 weeks. I think the hardest part for me, is eating right. Does anyone know of a website that would be helpful in this area? Like showing me what to eat for certain meals, like a guide of some sort. Thanks for any help.
  4. I like white tea (Silver Needle is one of my favorites), green tea (Matcha) and oolong tea (Ali shan, also a favorite of mine). After reading this I think I will go make me some Silver Needle.
  5. Have you tried this site? http://www.pgatour.com/onthetee/
  6. I got to watch this last week. I felt it was just alright, kind of boring. I guess it was not exactly what I was expecting.
  7. Then these sound like they would be perfect for me then, because I am in the same boat. Still consider myself a biginner and do not have alot of money to spend on equipment. Thanks for the info, anyone else have an opinion on these?
  8. Congrats on your first birdie, and yes like eveyone else said, it is a birdie. Do not worry about if it is to short to be a par 5. I am still looking for my first, i have had about 3 or 4 tries, but missed my first putt and had to settle for a par.
  9. Are these irons good. I was thinking about getting a set of Adams 2010 RPM Irons, and was just wondering if anyone has used them and what they thought about them. Thanks for any help and advice.
  10. I have never tried the baseball grip. But after reading this thread I might give it a try next time I go to the range.
  11. I have not been or posted on this site in a year, just thought I would reintroduce myself. I am from Charleston, WV and i took all of last year of from golf. I did not play a single round or even watch it on TV, and i would have to say i did not miss it at all. So as this season started to roll around I had pretty much given up on playing this season, since i did not really miss it. Usually at this time of the year I get real excited about the weather getting warmer and all that, but not this year. That is until my family and i went to Orlando to visit my mom and step dad, and my step dad got us tickets to the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Now i cannot wait get out on the course. I already have my first 3 rounds planned out, lol. Anyways, hello to everyone again.
  12. With a red dot somewhere on the ball, usually above or below the name on the ball (Wilson, Maxfli or whatever brand I am using at the time).
  13. I am not trying to take anything away from the winning streak, but come on. How many of those wins were against lowly C-USA teams. I am just saying that I respect the 37 game home winning streak of ND in the BE more than yours. So let me get this right. Vandy is good enough to beat the team that beat you, but stands no chance against you. Like I said more than likely what would happen is that Vandy would stick around long enough to make it uncomfortable for Memphis. Then Memphis would pull away in the end, espically if they played the game in Nashville. I am in no way trying to take away from what your team has accomplished over the last few years. Making it to the Sweet Sixteen or Elite Eight is a very good year, but unfortunately you have been picked by several to win the NC and have not won one. Until that happens people will just see you as an overrated team, it is sad to say but it is true. I do not feel this way but alot of people do.
  14. Um ok. Why did you quote my post and respond to it as if I was hating on Memphis. I gave Memphis credit when I was responding to the original post. The statement was made by the first poster saying that there were 4 C-USA teams that could go into any SEC teams court on any given night and win, and I said I would a agree with Memphis but not the others. A few more things. How is that Winning streak going for you now, oh wait that was put to a stop. Whether you choose to believe it or not Vandy is a good team that would give Memphis a run for their money. Memphis would more than likely pull away in the end but Vandy would hang around long enough to make them uncomfortable. My last point is, do you even know who my teams is? I doubt it, so don't tell me my team should be relegated to the lowly C-USA, because if Memphis was in the same conference as my team they would not be 30-1. Not saying they would have a losing record, but would have more than 1 lose.
  15. I agree with that 100%. Just a few more facts to prove that Vandy is a good team and beat anyone in C-USA, even Memphis. They are 18-0 at home this year, and have won 31 of the last 32 at home. Nine times has the #1 team in the country come into Nashville and 6 have gone away very disappointed, including the national champion Florida Gators last year. Something else I have disagree with, is your comment about 4 teams in C-USA can beat any SEC team on any given night. I will give you Memphis could do it, but UAB is the next level down. They have a good team and could compete with and beat alot of SEC teams but not all. They would lose to Tennessee, Vandy and maybe even Kentucky. Houston I have not seen play, so I cannot comment on them. Tulsa, really? I have a hard time buying into the fact that a team that is below .500 in C-USA could beat very many teams in the SEC.
