  1. Uniflex is ,if i remember correctly, more flexible than a regular shaft. The stiffer the shaft the generally more accurate you are. They say to always go stiffer if your between flexes. That being said, you generally lose a little power and may have a lower trajectory with the stiffer shafts. As for a 100 mph swing, you should have stiffys.
  2. Nice. Today I shot a 79, my first sub 80 round of the year, 2nd lifetime. Eagled a par 5, and only hit 27 putts but my driver failed me in an unbelievable way. On 5 holes my drives were less than 50 yards. I made bogey, par, bogey, bogey (off a tree 25 yards and in the adjacent fairway), and birdie. Those are drives that didn't even reach the fairway. Imagine if i could hit my driver...
  3. A couple weeks ago he was quoted saying that his transition away from the new grooves won't be that hard because he uses such a soft ball.
  4. Here's what you do. 1) take a swing with a wedge as to take a dollar bill sized, but rather thick divot. 2) place ball in divot. 3) cover ball with removed soil from wedge shot. 4) "Where'd mah ball go!?!?!"
  5. Regardless of the scenario, breaking a club is extremely over the line. I find it outrageous as well as embarrassing when anyone in my foursome slams a club or hits their bag. It's not the tour. Whether your a 3 handicap or a 25, respect the game. It can be a real ass at times but thats why we all play it. That being said, I'm confused where all this hoopla is coming from. You shot a great round, in the rain, but messed up a little at the end. Sure its hella frustrating but look at the great first 16 and keep working to go lower.
  6. 430ish yard par 4. Hit a real crappy 3 wood into the thick right rough. With a less than ideal lie and about 175 yds to the green with about 10 ft of elevation i decided to go Tiger Woods style and bomb one out of the rough onto the front of the green. I two putted but a great shot nonetheless. Notes: usually hit my 6i 200yds.... first post
