  1. i totally aggree with J.P. I myself had some MX-23's and yes they did drop my handicap, but as soon as i got my rac TP's i noticed was very inconsistent. i went to the range more than playing on the course. Found thier sweet spot, and in the long run I am hitting longer and more accurately and can work the ball a whole lot better. Which in turn is slowly lowering my handicap. my 2 pennys....
  2. just picked up a sonartec, a lil difficult to hit and not at all forgiving. but very very workable golf club. makes me miss my R7 ti... and that being said, i would go with an R7 ti 3 wood it macthes exactly what you are looking for. my 2 pennys
  3. 3 for me check sig...
  4. I have not tried the 25's but used to own the 23's, the MX23's are a great stick, i miss them lol. they are soooo easy to hit and they are forged. only gripe for me now is that the sole was too wide. other than that a excellent club.
  5. thats paula creamer in greens druid's avatar...
  6. Like Iacas and Everado, i would have to my most expensive club would have to be my driver when sold Retail. But i think my irons were most expensive (cheap as hell, gotta love PUD and TMAG!!!!) either way my R7 TP is my most expensive stick in the club sack, Weighing in at a hefty $899 retail ;)
  7. Rezgolf is right. Get a consistant swing that works and feels good. Then get fitted. Then Boom your happily getting bubba watson distance ;)
  8. interesting... I have the RAC Forged TP's and mine is on my 5iron... either way glad that you found it
  9. I would look into the RAC TP Forged's, i just pick them up and they are absolutely a dream to play with. -my couple of cents....
  10. "...good thing i had that sex change!"
  11. man oh man, i was flipping a quarter to find out which to order. I figured that i would go to the cavity back just for the reason of an easier to hit club, but jeez these feel like blades but have a good amount of forgiveness for a TP club. Better for my game style too, as with school and work, its hard to get out more than once a week :(
  12. In high school, some kids were just like that. a few of my friends and I, who actually were good players took it seriously. The other guys talked bad about us, and it really ruined the atmosphere. Its the new breed of golf. Integrity and honesty < People sleezing their ways onto golf courses and the latter. These are the type of kids that i do not enjoy helping out at work (pro shop) as all they do is pester me about getting on for free and if i give em a break all they do is go down and grab a cart, being under age and not paying for it. And it just gets me in trouble. -Rocky
  13. Been thinking about getting the TP's for a long time...Put my order in with my specs to TMAG last week. just arrived today. all i can say is that they Look awesome, and are a joy to play with. on any lie they slice like a warm knife in butter. They are extremely workable and have excellent feel to them and not that bad on mis hits, feels like a blade mishit but the ball still stays some what on target. i ordered them with Dynamic gold SL's and they work great with my slower swing speed (driver 96mph) anyways i'll keep you guys posted as i have only played one round with em. So far, i am just in love with em!!!! -Rocky
  14. im thinking about going to a winn midsize pistol grip, since they are about 10 grams heavier, so that should do the trick... thanks for the help guys!
  15. wow...those look awesome!
  16. looking at cutting the shaft down to 33.5 in, i have heard that this will mess the balance of the putter up, is this true? -Rocky
  17. Driver: Cobra HS9, not as far as the above mentioned, but atliest you will be in the fairway woods: i'd say callaway big berthas, or X's. as mentioned before, hybrids are great, i personally like the taylormade rescue dual, but thats because they have the TP steel shafted version, but a high handicapping buddy of mine has the clevland Halo he swares by it... irons MX-900, solid choice, maybe look into the taylormade R7 XD's, another awesome game improvement iron. Wedges, CG11's are a good choice here, but for someone that does not want to worry about bounce and what bounce is good for you, check out the Cleveland variable sole wedges. putter. whatever feels good, and puts it in the hole....
  18. wow those are a great looking iron, and i am stoked on the black lettering. looks like MP-32 as stated above.
  19. Hows it goin everybody. just figured i would say hello and introduce myself. My name is Rocky, I work @ Seascape GC i am a senior Golf Shop Assistant.
  20. wow, they resemble the MX-23's... i can't wait for the review on them, as i am up in the air between the Rac TP's or possibly these R7 TP's. Although it seems that the Rac TP (not the MB's) are a bit more of a workable club, Am i right in thinking this? -Rocky
