Just joined the fantasy golf. Wish I saw this last week. Should be fun. Red Sox Nation has some catching up to do.

I compare watching golf without Tiger like watching the Celtics in the '80s without Larry Bird - still fun and enjoyable, but just not the same. Like part of the game was missing. With that being said, I watched just about every moment of the SBS Championship (drove my wife crazy). I will continue to watch PGA, LPGA, and European Tour because I am hooked. Must admit, I missed seeing Phil this weekend as much as Tiger. Guess I qualify as a golfer.

My son had the same problem. He is a strong 20 year old that can hit a baseball a mile. I was very surprised to see how short his shots are on the course, especially his iron play. I have been working myself with a local club pro for the past 6 months and I have realized there are SO many factors that go into a consistent swing. IMO, one of the biggest factors to get a penetrating ball flight (added distance) was to make sure that at the point of contact the back of your left wrist is flat and your right wrist is bent (for a righty). Until recently, I was the exact opposite, causing me to hit very high irons. I have been working with my son on getting his wrists properly set at impact and he has added considerable yardage to his iron play. Take a look online or any golf magazine for snapshots at the moment of impact to see what I mean. Good luck.

Went to look at a new driver for my son and drove home with a new Adams A7 3i hybrid for myself. Seemed to hit it better than my Adams A4. My son gets my A4.

Just got myself some FJ Dry Joys (end of season special) and they were very comfortable from the moment I put them on. No blisters, no problems, no break in period.

Have played several over the past 15 years. Always like Tidewater, but heard it has gone downhill recently. Played Wild Wing (Avocet) over Thanksgiving and it was in very good condition. You didn't ask about cost, but I will tell you there are deals to be had. I took my 2 boys and payed $80 total for all 3 of us (including carts). Call the clubhouses of those you are interested in and you may find some unadvertised specials. Really wanted to play Kings North but didn't want to shell out the bucks for 3 of us.
