  1. That list is pretty standard for all big box offers. These companies just don't like is saving money :/ lol good find on the discount.
  2. I AGREE this is one of the best apps to capture your swing and able to compare it to the swing of pros side by side right within the application.
  3. Just purchased my 710's 2 months ago... GO ME!!! AWESOME!!!! I knew I should of waited :/
  4. I was fitted by Titleist for an entire set and played with both d2 and d3. d3 is more if you look to draw or fade off the tee. (if i try that I slice and hook the hell out of the ball) its a little smaller but bombs! the d3 is a little bigger but more for the people looking to get it straight. I smashed both really well. the feel is great with both d2 and d3. I think the standard shaft options are amazing and are going to make a hell of a difference. If you want a killer driver you cannot go wrong with the 910 series. Fitting is a must i added 25 yards to my drive by just being fitted well. :)
  5. YES i use Groupon and it works. no questions asked and you can save a ton. just make sure you read all details to make sure that the restrictions you are Ok with.
  6. I play with S300 Shafts and play regular Wedge shafts with my wedges. Like you said you are not swinging as hard with your wedges. So Stiffer shafts are not required.
  7. lol Touche' I am sure WBL is mad about a lot of things in life not just a golf bag.
  8. Yes that model is several years old and drivers should be replace at least every 4 years. hank haney suggests that drivers be purchased every 2 years. you will get many different opinions just look at your game and look how you hit it off the tee and ask yourself how you feel about it? then maybe go to a fitting day and try some of the new drivers if you feel a difference for the better then you have your answer.
  9. Love great threads like this! (in for the updates) also great point there funkyfred about the points. I had a driver issue where it was my fault (broke the Shaft) and I called Nike told them what happened. they were the nicest people to deal with I sent it in for review in hopes that maybe they would ever be so nice and fix it cause I was just not excited for buying a new shaft. I even sent them a FedEx prepaid label cause I head a feeling they would say no so I wouldn't have to pay more than i had to. Not only did they take the Driver they called me when it came in, then they called me same day to tell me that they were going to take care of me, then once I received the club they sent me a nice email thanking me for being a valued customer blah blah blah. Once i opened the box they upgraded me to the new of the year driver. I WAS SOOO SURPRISED!!! The kicker for me that made me feel like Nike was a great... My label was in the box :) I am not saying you don't have a right to feel bad about your experience but in hearing you talk you are very bitter. take a min and reread what you wrote Logically and you will see that they made a rational effort in making things right. Was it what you wanted? Maybe not but it wasn't like they said F*** O** and left you to figure it out on your own. Which you where good enough to do anyway. Just think before going nuts and bashing a company.
  10. Start with lessons it will be better before you start bad habits that take longer and harder to fix.
  11. with putting its all about you and what you like and feel. what ever makes u feel good over a ball and you are hitting you aim point go with it. an example is, i cannot personally play a face balanced putter because of the way my natural swing plan is.
  12. as a beginner i played with clones because i couldn't tell the difference between good and bad clubs. for the price i was a fan. i am sure lots of guys here would disagree but that is just my opinion.
  13. shaft can be too stiff for you. swing speed isnt the only factor into what is the best shaft. I too under "some shaft manufactures sites" should be hitting a x100 but i can hit better an s300 so i took the s300 and let it be. I hit it farther and gives me a nicer smoother feel at contact. remember saying u have an xtra shift shaft is nice to take about for 3 sec on he 19th hole. its the first 18 that will make people listen.
  14. I think you should instead of doing a 3 and 5 wood do a 4 wood. Players with moderate swing speeds do not see the difference much between the 2 clubs. I have a Nike Sumo2 4 wood then go to 3 hybrid. as far as manufacturer. I would suggest the one I use because it a club I feel great and hit solid. A person. Adams makes great hybrids as well. I suggest going to Golfsmith and take a look at a bunch of them. good luck
