Sergio whines, Tiger's an arrogant dick .... still, I like watching them both Also, I'd think that if Tiger where Spanish and Sergio was American, this discussion would have looked rather different

Brandle has only himself as a reference ... and he would seem to have some issues to settle with mainly himself and is payed handsomely to take that out on Tiger and 'modern coaching'. He also seems continuously astounded by the fact that all modern tips in magazines (his only research platfrom) are more technical and do not 'talk feel' per se. That obviously makes him believe that the modern day coach is just a walking talking robot, something he will not change his mind about since he refuses to investigate or research 'in the field' ... he's just a jerk basically ..

tsss, method teachers :) Thanks for the answer Dave, very much like how you guys keep working on and thinking about stuff. And thank you for it has potentially created a blueprint for cooperation in our Academy, because the less organized one's I presume don't see a problem in getting more organized without being labelled ... better for everyone and it's nice and catchy!

Interesting ... would you say you go more in to the 'what' where perhaps Stack & Tilt ® goes more into the 'how' ?

Make swing changes and still play decent. Is it possible?

The way it sounds you would have had a hard time if you would have been half on .... so don't take too much from the round ... Keep working on what you're working on and go out and play with that stuff, it takes discipline and NO tournament conditions, so go out on your own when its quit ... if you have the option of playing just 3 or 4 holes then do that or otherwise leave it at 9 holes. then give yourself some honest feedback, mainly about your focus and discipline . You'll get there, no worries -

Why Understanding the Ball Flight Laws is Important

Well, the word closed tends to be incorrectly used by a lot of people .... If in set-up the face is pointing left it is regarded as closed ... no path involved, hence one can play a fade with a closed face .. no discussion about it. I would prefer to redefine however and use left and right for target-linked direction and closed/open in path relationship ... Still doesn't mean Brandle is right, he is wrong, stubborn, childish and lying .. I wish he would man up -

4) perhaps Brandle will sneakily study what's referred to as the D-Plane and see the light ? naah, forget it -
Anti doping agency to consider adding tobacco to the banned list...
MacBooky replied to Lofty Lefty's topic in Tour Talk
I have never seen someone smoking during a marathon or the Tour de France ... don't see why it should improve performance ... it will probably decrease performance in those that do smoke, but so will not eating or drinking ... I am however astounded by the government rules enforced on US Citizens .. rather odd for a country that thinks the rest of the world are a bunch of socialists and commies ... -
from his Facebook page: Quote: everyone is talking about the swing i made on 15 tee. it is not a "wiff." my intention is NOT to hit the ball. with the speed coming down i can not stop the swing and the only thing i can do is to pull up. which make me swing over the top of the ball. i've done this many times playing on the PGA TOUR and the officials are aware of my habits. i even had rules officials come tell me that i can keep doing this and it'll not be a problem. i also learned today from rules official Jon Brendel that if i do make contact with the ball but intention was NOT to hit it. it will not count. It just looked extremely odd and took most of us by surprise I guess .... that boy has demos spooking around his head. But it has to be said, going out the next day and shooting −6 to win it shows some character, congrats in place!

With all the debate going on in the world of golf on how to swing a golfclub a lot has been said about how different TPI and Stack & Tilt are and that they 'bite'. I thought it would be time to do some investigation on the subject, because all these 'public' debates are not really helping anyone when they end up in overheated discussion and bashing each other. I watched a Youtube video of the TPI seminar at the PGA Golf show and suddenly it hit me .... lot's of common ground actually! This link will take you to the Blogpost (and thanks Erik for asking me to post it) http://bklgolf.posterous.com/the-common-ground-between-tpi-and-stack-tilt Hope it helps everyone in creating a better opinion or a better game

Video Analysis has changed my game forever
MacBooky replied to LeviTee's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
Well, let's be real .... you're probably the only one that doesn't know his swing is ugly yet .... you've already shared it with the rest of the world at numerous occasions And remember, you shouldn't be using video to rate yourself, you have a scorecard for that. Use video for analysis of issues and feedback during practice. -
Upright (which is not enough letters I noticed)

Lose control ... of what? keep asking questions, you're paying the guy with the answers

i am seriously looking forward to it Erik (actually can't wait to drop Bootcamp) so bring it on Any clue on the releasedate yet? Really don't think you need the new app-store. it's a pretty tight community and through facebook, twitter and the rest of the Internet people interested will soon enough know where to find it. Good luck, we'll buzz it like mad (when it's good )

Well, I'm not really sure i understand what you mean or what you want, but looking at any knee, there willhave to be straightening and flexing during a swing .... In the backswing your left knee will bend more to how it was at setup, and right before impact it will have straightened back to where it was at setup, continuing to straighten through to finish

backswing question - How flat is "too flat"
MacBooky replied to uppi's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
Well, that kinda depends ...... club is attached to your arms ... if you just 'fold it' inside with your wrists and armroll you're up the preverbial sh&tcreek; ..... you should thinks of a 'one-piece takaway" where the arms travel inside and the club kinda follows that line -
Stay away form orange balls in winter, you will not find in between the leaves or in the rough ...

V1 home doesn't read .mov files, so that would be a problem .... you'll need a standard DV Camera for that, but they are pretty cheap ... get a Canon or Panasonic .. I have a Kodak Zi8 but don't like it, waste of money ..... You could grab a Casio Exilim camera, the small ones aren't that expensive and are still awesome. Other option would be to upload to Widedivots.com .....
