I'm not taking about a "beat a bucket" session at the range. Actually go to the range and pay attention to what your doing. Take your time.. Start with one club make half swings until you hit it in a decent manner. Then go 3/4 and so on.... When I get a nasty glitch in my swing, I don't play until I get it figured out. Always at the range. I go back and start from scratch. 1/2, 3/4, Full shots with each club until I get it back in order.... Watch your divots, flight path, etc.... The range takes the "score" aspect out of it. Easier to "work" on your game at the range when your not worrying about your playing partners waiting for you and such. I'm not opposed to the instructor thing, but he never really made it clear if he has 1. the time 2. the funds, to do so.

Jamie's stats through the tournament. Top ten in eagles and double bogeys. Funny that his best round of the tournament had the worst driving accuracy and his best putting. He's got a ways to go before being a contender.

Steel Vs Graphite shaft question
jpalermo replied to bakalao1's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I would get fitted again for your next set -
14 degrees of bounce is hard to hit off of that lie. my mizuno 56 has 14 degrees of loft and I use it almost exclusively for the sand or a fluffy chip

range, range, range. take a few alignment aids, your iPod and $30 bucks to the range 2-3 times a week. don't do the mats, hit off the grass. also what I find that helps is if I know what course we are going to play next, I will "play" the course on the range.

shot 81 with a double and a triple ( on a 283 yard par 4, duffed a chip, then bladed the next one) good day except for the 2 blunder holes. take 2 or 3 of those + strokes out of those two holes and I'm back under 80 where I belong.

I say you take the club to a fitter and have them tell you instead of asking us. you would be better of. I have wasted a shit ton of money trying to self fit myself.

Wednesday I had a chip in for bird on the first hole which was cool but the best shot was a 53 degree wedge over a tree and bunker to a pin tucked right behind it from 109 yards from the next holes fairway and stuck it inside 5 feet. couldn't really see the pin because of the tree but it's the course 4 mins away from my house and they usually put the pin there on Sunday's.

Sadlowski is the real deal my friend... Probably the longest hitter the game has ever seen.
-
I watched a youtube video of him with Gray Mccord.... He hit a 300 yard drive with a putter and with a 29" long driver... He crushes the ball

Jealousy? No... Curiosity? Yes...

I hope he does well. The problem is that most of the courses they play on the NWT, at least the ones I have watched, are fairly straight. Id be interested to see how he would do on a course where its not all about bombing drives.

got a gap in my bag. what to fill it with?
jpalermo replied to heggis's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I would go with a 16* fairway metal or a 18* or 19* hybrid. -
weight the cost from what you are going to lose on a trade vs the cost to either reshaft or soft step them once or twice. I know a lot of people that play the px's now that didn't really like them when they first got them. when I got my ap2's I hit the px and the kbs and the kbs. the px a little longer an a little tighter I just didn't like the way the felt. it's all personal, it's your call. the px is a good shaft as is the kbs. I personally like the kbs this is my second set with them. I didn't notice if you had gone back to hit them side by side again, if so how did that go?
-
had the dynamic gold s300 and they produced a very low ball flight for me. I personally didn't like the weight factor. felt way heavier than the kbs tours I play now. played them for 8 years in my dci 762's. when I changed those out to the kbs tours in the same set it was like a whole different set of irons.

take it out and hit it. you'll know if it's fake. it will sound and feel horrible like a tin can on the end of a stick.
