  1. Getting past that 80 barrier is all about short game and course management. Eliminating 3 putts and getting up and down is key. Focus on your chipping and getting the ball in the hole. Course management is also important. You may not need to be hitting 3 woods on every par5 if you can't reach the green in 2. And you might not need to hit driver off every tee. Hope these tips help! Elizabeth
  2. You might want to try experimenting with some of these tips. For a fade open your stance up and bring the club slightly outside on your takeaway. On the downswing feel like you are coming over the top and hold your release. To hit a draw close you stance a bit and slightly hood the clubface at address. On your down swing feel like you drop the club under a bit and release the club. Hope this helps! Elizabeth
  3. The best drill to do to keep your elbow in is to put a headcover under your armpit. Just hit several balls while focusing on keeping that headcover locked in! Good Luck!
  4. I was told by the greenskeeper at my club that the best thing to do after taking a divot is to just take your club and pound in the area when you took the divot. You want to hit in the area around where the ripped pieces of grass are. It's difficult for me to explain here but that's what I was showed. I guess it's best if you do anything. Just don't leave your divot bare! Elizabeth
  5. I have found that using a medicine ball with basic core exercises has helped my distance dramatically. I recently lost 20+ pounds and noticed my distance went down as well. I may not drive as far now but at least I look good.
  6. I would have to say Lee Travino. I saw him at a golf tournament when I was in highschool and asked him for an autograph. He totally blew me off. The sad thing was that he wasn't even playing in the tournament. He was just sitting in a cart doing nothing.
  7. I hope women are allowed here. I love meeting other fellow women golfers.
