  1. Yep, me again. So happy with this purchase. I have never seen this distance. Granted I had a old, really old driver. But even when I got a hold of it I would get maybe 225, downhill, wind at my back, a tight cut fairway…..I think you catch my drift. I have a driving range about 30 minutes from me that has a shot tracker. It was raining, has been raining so….this is what I get. Even miss hits are getting me 225.
  2. With all the manufacturers we tried multiple configurations to give them all a fair chance. I guess I should have clarified that the SIM was not 10-20 longer on average. I got a hold of a few that were smashers. To be fair I hit the TSi within 5-10 when I got a hold of it hitting that driver. I will give up that 5 all day when I can keep it on the fairway more often.
  3. I posted a few days ago asking about Tour Edge and PXG. Finally pulled em all out and got fitted minus the PXG. Went yesterday hit the Tour Edge Exotic C721 and Cobra. Today…..Epic, TSi2, Sim2 and XXIO. Loft changes, head changes, shaft changes, head speed better then I thought. About 200+ balls later the winner is… Titleist TSi2, 9 degree regular shaft. Dispersion was tighter, it jumped off the face better, love the sound and feel, when I got a hold of a few….with a 95-100 head speed I was throwing 240 carry. Sim hit it farther by 10-20 but I could not control it as well. The others….just meh for me. Great clubs but….meh These are opinions of my own and my swing. In no way am I a shill for the company…heck I use Taylor Made R9 irons , Rawlings putter and still have my 5 and 7 wood knock offs that are about 15 years old. So you know what I am getting next!!!!
  4. Never have walked off. I am pretty sure my hair is thinning because of a bad round. I try to keep in perspective someone is working while I am playing someone is not able to play brocade if money, no clubs etc Then I get that one shot…..anger is gone!!
  5. Cobra was in my sites. Even the newer ones. It all came to funnel today. About to post what I ended up going with.
  6. I noticed that. Never realized it until I started researching it. Went and hit it today. Good driver. Good feel, forgiving and I like the look and sound. going back in a day or two to try out the TS1 and 2, sim2 max and epic max. They seem better for slow swing speed players like me from my research.
  7. Thank you. It amazing how I picked it back up pretty quickly.

  10. Which shaft did you end up going with?
  11. In the US Army. 18 1/2 years. So close to retirement. Currently in Washington State. Great golf course out here with great views
  12. Hey all, Currently in Washington State, stationed at JBLM. I am 52, love golfing. Took a 12 year hiatus and have found the time to start smacking again. I am a 20 handicap.
  13. Looking for a new driver. I currently have a no name 15 year old driver. Just a little about myself, 52, moderate swing speed and a handicap of 20. The Tour Edge seems like a great driver for a great price. I have seen many reviews and it is comparable to top brands in distance, spin etc. Not sure I am being swayed by the low price of the PXG. Seems to good to be true. I have seen the reviews. Seems good. Anyone swing these and can give me reviews. Only three dealers for Tour Edge here and PXG it seems you must buy and take a blind swing at liking it. thank you
