  1. I have one and like it a lot. I don't use it as much anymore but I still think it's a good idea and a cool product. I don't know of anything else that you can use in a small indoor space that helps with putting distance control (although I think Pelz has some sort of device also). You can get hundreds of reps of different length putts while in your living room watching the golf channel or a bowl game or whatever. I didn't get the feeling that the Puttist guy was advertising, just responding informatively on a post that referenced his invention. But you guys run a tight ship, and it is your ship after all.
  2. So many ways to grip the club...Tommy Gainey with his lead thumb off the shaft, Furyk with the double overlap, etc. And I think you will see even more creative grip styles as people start to learn what works best for them to get the club doing what they want it to do thru impact.
  3. Corey Lundberg is in Houston I think, he is excellent.
  4. Trevino's book, Groove Your Golf Swing My Way, is one of the most underrated tomes of all-time. He was a genius ball-striker in idea and application. I've also learned a lot from Pelz's books.
  5. i've been curious about the reasons for this one for awhile. does anyone have any insight? i am thinking that forearm strength (or lack thereof) can play a large part.
  6. hmm...good question. i think there is some power in a swing that "changes planes", so to speak. if you look at baseball players, none of them wait for the ball with the bat parallel to the ground, even though this would give them the advantage of starting the bat on the same plane as the incoming pitch
  7. i use a piece of plywood that i leveled with an exelys. it's the only thing i trust to be (and stay) perfectly flat. i work on line at home and speed on the practice greens.
  8. i'm a firm believer in the "no backswing" golf swing. it eliminates unnecessary steps in a movement that demands precision and repeatability. i don't think i'll ever go back. it's too much fun beating people with something that looks so different.
  9. I'm looking for something that can tell me if my clubface is square at impact when i'm practice swinging at home. Would a launch monitor be the best for this? I'm not looking for any other feedback other than whether or not my clubface is square.
