SUMO2's sound god awful off the tee. I won a vacation at a golf expo to a resort in Virginia and I took another couple with my fiance and I. The other couples husband and I are really good friends but never played together though. I let him go first and while I was getting my things out of my bag he teed off and I literally hit the deck when he made contact it was that horrible. The course was in the mountains too so the echo was almost deafening lol

Depends on how "cheap" you are looking for. I was assume the TaylorMade R9 driver would be your best bet to start looking because they are the first adjustable drivers that were on the market.

I was at the release party last night at the local Golf Galaxy. They had a contest going to bring in your driver and test it against the RBZ driver. You get 5 swings and you take your best distance on both and for how many yards further the RBZ was compared to your driver you get one RBZ ball. I didnt take part in this because I wasn't aware until I got there what the promotion really was and I was just intent on buying and R11S driver and RBZ 3W. Needless to say everyone walking out left with a nice size bag of balls. This thing seems a legit.

Major snafu tonight with the Golf Galaxy midnight release of the R11s and RBZ. I went with the intentions of picking up an R11s driver and an RBZ 3w. For some reason the R11s products won't scan in any computers. They keep getting a message saying the product release date isn't yet. GG called the TM help line and said the problem is nationwide. Ended up only leaving with the RBZ 3w. I have to go back in the morning to see if it's straightened out. They gave me two free sleeves of RBZ balls, free grippin fee on both clubs and (I think accidentally) an second RBZ headcover for the 3w.

Awesome I thought you werent even allowed to demo them until the 3rd either, thanks for the info.

How were you able to try out an R11s? They dont come out until February 3rd.

Anyone ever played these before? Im thinking about using them on my new driver and 3W that Ill be picking up in February. Appreciate any feedback.

I agree with your friends completely about the 3w. Up until the last two years I've been horrid with mine. Once I put a lot of practice time in with it I've become very accurate with it. I must admit a solid 3w off the deck feels oh so sweet. I really don't get the TM hate on here. What does it affect anyone on here as to what they do or how they market. No one is forcing you to buy it. If you hate the white look then don't buy it. Who cares if it's pink, green or blue. If it attracts buyers then great for them. I've played all kinds of club makes and TM is what I like best. Also why do you care if some people rush out and buy the new models the day they come out? It's not your money. If it makes them happy and they think they play better then more power to them.

How do I confirm serial numbers off a set of irons I'm thinking of purchasing on eBay?

I am able to get a good deal on a set of 2 degree upward bent irons. I have never hit irons that weren't standard bend. What is the benefit of 2 degrees upward bend? If they do. It work for me is there any harm in bending them back to normal? Will it compromise the. Lib being bent and rebent back again?

How do you know which you should be gripping you clubs with? I wear a men's XL glove if that helps?

Is there a release date for these yet?

Had something similar happen to me last year. My best friend and I were out and on 18 (par 5 going back towards the club house). 17 is also a par 5 running back the opposite direction as 18 both side by side. We were sitting in the car in the middle of the 18th fairway and I was in the driver seat waiting for the green to clear. As we were sitting there talking I heard them tee off on 17 and a couple seconds later I hear an ear piercing PING as their ball hit the metal frame of our cart on the front left corner face high. My friend and I both bailed out of the cart like a bomb went off because we never saw the ball coming. After we stood up I noticed the dent on the frame and saw the ball sitting there. Pissed off as hell (was having a horrible round) I teed the ball up right there in the fairway, running along the right side of the 18th is a road and over the road is nothing but woods, and drove it into the woods. A minute later two teenage kids come driving up to us laughing and one asked "That ball didnt hit you did it?" I pointed to the dent and both started losing it. I didnt say anything and we went to get back in the cart and leave because the green was now clear when kid who hit it asked where his ball was at then. I pointed to the woods and said "about 300 yards deep in there". He laughed and then got a totally confused and idiotic look on his face and said "Wait if it hit your cart then how is it 300 yards in the woods?" I pulled the tee out of my pocket and flipped it to him and got in the cart and as I drove off he said "WTF asshole? You drove my ball in the woods?" We kept going and just finished the hole. My friend who has a HORRIBLE temper was dumb founded that I didn't drill him in the mouth when he started laughing haha

Went to a golf expo about a month ago and I entered my name in for a bunch of random stuff. I gotta call the other day that I won TWO vacations. One to a resort in Virginia and the other a resort in Orlando. I can bring two more people other then my gf so I offered the invitation to the guy who invited me to the expo and his wife. I like the look of their shirts. Ive got a couple my gf bought me. I would never wear them golfing though because they are cotton. I usually pick a new shirt every two weeks when I get paid. I like Nike, Puma, Adidas and Under Armour the most. I usually buy a shirt that will go with a certain pair of shorts I have or vice versa.

Thanks. Ive had them on my R9 Supertri and my R9 3W and 09 Rescues. My tackimac's were getting all marked up and looked like crap. I should have black widowed my irons instead of tackimacing them originally.
