Wow! I got lucky. 3 of my 6 guys missed the cut, i'm sure everyone took Tiger, & I still managed to move up 2 spots?

Because it's still Winter here, i can't attest to the wear factor, but i picked up an ADIDAS Lethal XT (black), & it is the most comfortable glove i have ever tried on. Again, i haven't golfed with it yet. I like the Ping, FJ are good, but Nike wear out super fast for me.

Congrats Steaksauce... I'm just an old high handicapper who started golfing in my 40's, but that's awesome for you. Listen. watch, & learn...that will bring you confidence. Good luck!

If u go to scorecard, & click on Tournament in progress, it gives u your projected points @ that point in time. I never knew that. Pretty cool, doesn't mean anything, but it's neat to know where u stand. Right now if it was over, my points would be 5,805...

I was hitting my hybrids like my woods, but i recently read in a golf mag that they should be struck like irons?

I actually had no problem hitting my 3 iron. It was a Ping G2 HL, so it was easier than a standard 3, but i took it out last year in favour of a Halo 3i (22º). The hybrid, to me, has a lot more uses. Much easier from deep stuff, tee box, bunkers etc...This winter, i replaced my 4HL & 5 wood, with a Cobra Baffler (18º) and then added back my 60º lob wedge. The hybrids are just much more versatile for a higher handicapper like me, but my 3 & 4 are not far away if needed.

Sorry...I should of added FJ. I was winging it & forgot all about them, even though I have used them MANY times. I don't think there is a way to add them on now.

I too looked @ Calc & Els, but most players (xcept Tiger) can't seem to string more than one good tourney together! I always pick Kelly, and he admitted to having problems, but i'm giving him another chance... I went with: J.B. Holmes Appleby Kelly Cink Ames Kevin Sutherland Good Luck. Hope to be joining you next week in the top 100. I will be higher though.

There is a Burner (2 piece), the Burner TP (3 piece) and the Red & Black have been redesigned. I just bought the Burner TP's today, but it's winter out here, so it wil be a few months before i can try them...

In the recent GOLF Magazine ball test, the Noodle+ comes up in my range. Haven't been able to find them here yet...

Has anyone used these before. Padraig Harrington uses one of their other models. These have 8 cleats instead of the usual 7. Hoping someone has some feedback for me.

Thanks TourSpoon. I hope we get a bunch of Sand Trappers in the top 100. I'll share. This week was tough. That's what i like bout this one. Some of the choices are guys u barely heard of. It really makes u think, with a lot of luck involved as well.

Thanks srjorion. Got lucky with a weak field, but i see u did quite a bit better ! Sounds like a lot of guys are bailing, but i still find it fun. I don't understand some of the complaints about selections not going through? If u don't get a confirmation # then try again...I had lots of problems last year. This one is much easier on my "older" Mac.

I have an all black Bennington cart bag. It has a 9 circular insert inside that has individual slots for your irons. It goes from high to low, so your 3 iron goes in the longest slot etc. It also has three compartments in the middle for woods, & a tube on each side. I put my putter in one, and a hybrid in the other. I think the model was called the "Quiet Organizer". I've had many compliments about it.

I have a new Cobra Baffler 18°, and a Cleveland Halo 22°. I took out my Ping 3&4 HL irons, my 5 wood, & added back my CG10 60° wedge.

My Driver & 3 wood are graphite, along with my new Cobra Baffler 18° hybrid. My Pings, wedges, and my Cleveland Halo 22° hybrid are all steel. I'm waiting to see the difference in my 2 hybrids this year, one steel, one graphite. Right now it's -27c, with a wind chill of -32c. So i won't know for quite a while.
