  1. just a wall.. i suppose i could hide behind it but that would put me outside? yeah i'm screwed
  2. When you hit down on it you get distance, just take club less. I had a perfect 175 shot today, hit 7 iron, pured it flew the green into a trap on the backside. I hit down on it, just caught it better then expected and it flew 180ish into a trap.
  3. What are your misses? Big blocks/block fade/shank? Club face looks open in your back swing (with my limited swing analysis lolol). Don't rotate your hands away as you take your back swing. Try to keep the feeling of back of left hand to the target on the takeaway.
  4. ewwwwwwwwwwwww i have an 8:50 tee time tomorow.. rough life i live.
  5. Yeah definitely don't attempt to play the slice. Try to fix it, you'll see vast improvements in your game. Good job on the eagle and breaking 100. I've still never had an eagle! lol
  6. You're probably the funniest poster I've seen in a long while
  7. Or PING Eye 2 Irons - Ugliest Irons ever?
  8. Who knew leprechauns could be so good at golf?
  9. Not in my beautiful callaway bag they wont... the ping eye 2s are ugly as ****
  10. It's true, if you saw my roommates golf swing you can tell that he probably will never break 100. Its so rigid and unflexible. He's a terrible athlete too.. no coordination. But I agree some people will never be able to EXCEL at certain things. But if they can have fun and enjoy golf for what it is and shoot a 120 and be happy and play fast then I would absolutlely encourage them to play and continue playing.
  11. "I have invested over $3,000 for hands-on and online golf instruction, plus put in 10-15 hours of practice and/or play over the past two years. The payoff? ZERO! ZILCH! NADA! I am the perfect example of why the game of golf is not growing in the US. PGA pros get rich on desparate dolts like me. It won't happen again." From his youtube caption LOL 10-15 hours of practice in 2 years? I easily do that in 2 weeks..
  12. what the **** is going on i'm so confused lol I like my callaways
  13. Fantastic post. That picture I posted earlier where I had half wedge in, I bogeyed the hole because of the awkward distance to the pin, left my wedge way short and had a LONG putt (3 putted probably should have parred it but hadn't putted in a while). I probably should have dialed the driver back so I could have a full wedge into the green but at least I know now. Along with that I know TONS of single digit handicaps that only drive the ball 220-230... they can easily out play me all day.
  14. You know you're a good player. So obviously take this with a grain of salt Just take a week break clear your head. Usually I find after a break I swing really pure, I'm not as tight and all those really small little bad habits I start doing I forgot them.. but the main foundations of the golf swing remain. Maybe that will help. If not definitely get lessons lol
  15. lol 4.48 is moving, I've only met 2 people who are faster then 4.3, both of which blow 4.3 out the water :)
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-k0rfuNyXBM&feature;=relmfu This video helped me get an inside out swing. Just the little thing he drew on the ground really helped my swing. Kind of like jim furyk but once you get that feeling of connectedness and swinging inside out and not from over the top you should be able to begin bringing the club back onplane instead of loopy
  17. http://www.golf.com/golf/video/article/0,28224,2023121,00.html (go to 3:09, 300 yrd with your putter step ya game up)
  18. Your swing looks wayyyyyyyy better! Keep it up
  19. +3.5?
  20. hahahah busted.. how'd you know i kicked my ball up there?? lol but you bring up a valid point. I played with some 9 and 10 handicaps when I first started.. out drove them all day long by farrrr. they all drove 220 ish at most. two shot 79 other shot an 80... i shot a 103.. lol
  21. IMO It's a pretty ball flight.. but it rolls out a little bit farther. It's usually personal preference. Some people like hitting fades because they come in softer so you can be a little more aggressive to the pin. I think they're ugly soooo I try to avoid them lol
  22. I mean when I first started golfing my driving was a lot farther now. I used to swing out of my shoes and get it out there 260-270 if I stroked it well. I have hit quite a few out over 300 but I hit many more slices. Now that I've dialed it back a ton I'm considerably more consistant and straight, I get it out 250's carry but for some reason it doesnt roll out that far? It rolls out maybe 5 yards. I think I need a new driver as my ss might be a little fast for a R shaft and my R5 is kind of old. (but it was free lol) I've had a ton of people tell me I'm really long, which brings me to skeptism about so many people apparently out driving me everywhere I read on the internet. Like you I'm not a small guy infact I'm much larger and I played quite a few different sports for a while. O well. I plan on getting fitted for a new driver soon so I'm kind of excited :) here is a drive on a par 4 360 yards, you can see where you are supposed to exit with the cart slightly in front of me. Easy halfwedge into the green. (Given not all my drives are like this but I can definitely reach out there and the fairways were drive and it took a perfect line to where I wanted)
  23. I havent seen it.. pretty funny. Where else is it posted?
  24. Hard to tell where mine are from golf or lifting or being a man. I know one that is for sure golf. Just like this guy.. except on my left hand. I also have calouses on all my fingers and hands
