  1. haha relax man. I'm not sure.. I started playing golf last year so I havent experienced this
  2. My friend had his first ace ever the other day in college golf. Aced a par 4 - 265 yards Pretty nice.
  3. i get sore after 3 days in a row at the driving range.. plus i workout 5x a week.. also on saturdays(day after my back workouts) my ball striking is trash because im sore I'm usually a lot better ball striker after a 3 day layoff
  4. Oh ok, Is there a huge difference between midsize and standard? Not a whole lot I'm assuming - I wear a large glove so my hand isn't small. I will probably be getting the Orange PURE so I'm curious if the midsize might be a HUGE difference from my standard x-24 hot grips..
  5. http://www.puregrips.com/grips/view/pure_midsize_wrap/ I was thinking about these, but is there a huge difference between the midsize and standard? I have my stock grips on my x-24 hots and I think they are standard sized. I'm pretty sure I need a standard or a midsized.. Is a midsized a standard with 1 wrap of tape or something? I'm kind of new to regripping.
  6. It could be similar to other professional athletes exaggerating their height and weights and speeds. Usually they exagerate the height especially. My gf works in a hospital in charlotte and met Michael jordan the other day and he's definitely not 6'6
  7. Not a good start for your driver? How about not a good start for the bird lol
  8. I agree with what has been said but let me add - I have heard you can lose a little distance from range balls. I'm not 100% sure if this is true or not, but I could agree that I lose 5-10 yards off my shots when on the range. Could anyone provide a more detailed response regarding losing distance with range balls?
  9. I'm in North Carolina, hot humid in the summers. Any recommendations on what grips I should get? I plan on getting my clubs regripped before the start of the really bad summer months.
  10. Nothing really big here, but do you ever use a glove? You could get a bitchin nickname opposite of tommy 2 glove gainey .. Ben No glove whateveryourlastnameis
  11. Coming up on 1 year of serious golf (and 1 year total of playing golf lol started playing last may been serious since i started)... Closest I've had is 3 -4 feet.. No ace.
  12. Interesting, I'm like 99% sure I can't throw a baseball 90mph, but when you're 6'3 (like myself) its extremely easy to dunk a basketball lol. Not to mention I consider myself above avg athletism (4.5 40 35"vert) Essentially what I'm getting at is, I can hit my 9 140-150, I can catch it thin and hit it 155 160 maybe.. NO Where near 178!!! lol I honestly have no idea how he can crush it sooo far and highhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and land soooo soft. He's the man.
  13. Lol I'd be out there all day..
  14. Price reduced looking for 130-140 shipped to your door. Let me know this thing has to go!
  15. I don't really agree. Everyone shoots foul shots differently. It's similar to golf in find what works for you. Jim Furyk uses a double overlap grip because he tends to overuse one of his hands. That works for him I can't do it. There are many ways to properly strike a golf ball but oddly enough, the impact position is generally extremely consistent when analyzing a pro's swing.
  16. WHAT UP BRANDEL LOL let me get that shoutout!
  17. I do them both.. depends on the lie and situation
  18. Do i have to bring my own rake? hahahah

  21. Relax guys, I got no reply to email or confirmation or anything. It just came in the mail. He's a busy guy. It's just a little training aid anyways. It will come be patient.
  22. You're asking about why your driver trajectory is low right? You definitely want to have a looser grip. Also, how high are you teeing it up? Are you finishing "high"(when you finish the swing where are your hands? you can promote a lower trajectory shot by keeping your follow through low). If all else fails, you could always opt for a higher lofted driver. How is your iron ball flight?
  23. Haha yeah, it seems to be the most stubborn club to get back into it. But yeah, its been so nice out. Mid 60's to 70's. haha.. just rubbing it in a little.
