  1. Playing a lot less this year due to three shoulder operations late last year, slowly recovering and not striking the ball the best just yet. Will make up for it towards the end of the year I hope.
  2. It was inevitable I think, and I agree once he has a release or 2 he'll be a new man.
  3. I really don't want to talk about it. The weather was shocking, my golf was shocking, but I had to play didn't I. Ah well, next week.
  4. Hmmm, sounds very convincing, I believe I may have to purchase this collection for myself. Some good reviews guys.
  5. I don't believe Tiger's current bad form will persist into 2011, he will I think, overcome the on and off course dramas and return next year to possibly win 1 or 2 tournaments, as far as majors go, I have to agree with the previous poster stricklandpropane, here that he will win another major or two in the future, he is too good too dismiss entirely though and he will bounce back. I don't think Tiger has lost his mojo, he is way too competitive to give up just yet.
  6. hahaha, Sounds like my rounds. Most of my crap shots occur from fairway to green, driving is good, chipping is ok, putting needs work, but most trouble with longer irons, thinning or duffing about 5-7 a round.
  7. Lobbed a 60 yard pitching wedge over a small tree to within 4 feet of the hole, from a wayward 6iron approach shot to the 8th green at my local, what makes it even better is my mate actually saw it. Whooped his butt, he never recovered.
  8. Hi Big Taz Thanks mate, it makes it easier when you've got a partner to keep you on the straight and narrow.
  9. Hello everyone, I'm Gavin and I am a Golfaholic. I haven't fallen off the golf wagon (cart) for 3 days now. I first started hacking my way around the golf course when i was in my teens, mostly because some friends played, long time ago. As I have aged I have become more serious and addicted to playing golf, trying to improve my game and reduce my handicap. I love the game and get out whenever I can. It's good to be amongst fellow Golfaholics.
  10. That one shot per round that comes off just as you wanted and needed it to, that brings me back week after week. My last one was a 3 wood on a par 5, I duffed my drive off the tee, got angry, then smacked the sweetest 3 wood to within 2 feet of the pin. My worst, missed the putt for eagle but made an easy birdie. But that one 3 wood shot put me on a high for the rest of the round. Just waiting to repeat it.

Hey what's with the old fart joke, I am the same age as you, I don't feel like i'm a day over 63!
  12. I reckon Jack is probably the greatest, he has been and will continue to be, not just because of his on course supremity and integrity, but also for his off course demeanor and what he has done for the game. At the end of his career, I think that Tiger will have broken most of Jack's records and major wins, but will he be seen as the greatest ever? I am not so sure.
  13. Hi Everyone, I am a qualified Builder (carpenter) who is currently registered to train building apprentices through onsite training and assessment. (It's good to be off the tools)
