  1. Any time I can use a tee, I do. On Par 3's where I use an iron, or a long par 3 where I might use a three wood, I tee it up just off the ground as was mentioned earlier. Why not give yourself a perfect lie 18 times a round? Any time I use a club other than a driver with a tee, I use a broken one I find on the tee box.
  2. I have to agree with the minority on this one. I got to the golf course when I was his age (his real age, btw) on my own and I lived farther than he does.
  3. Wasn't the PGA Tour successful pre-Tiger? He's good for ratings, but he's not bigger than the Tour itself.
  4. I hit off grass only. If the range I usually go to is mats only because of rain or something, I just won't use the range. I'll go to the putting or chipping green instead.
  5. The tees were one step behind the sprinkler head. But yep, you can't go off what's printed on the scorecard because the tees (should) move every day.
  6. I've browsed the forum and main page for a while now but finally decided to sign up. Nice place.
  7. I use WiiFit daily. Have lost 20 pounds in 3 months. (195 to 175, as measured on the Wii board). Losing the extra around the middle has made my back not hurt as bad.
  8. I've been -1 after 3 holes before! Have never come close to being under par for 9, let alone 18. I shot +5 on the front nine in the previously mentioned round.

If you aren't playing for money, it doesn't really matter. Set up a round for money, and after the first couple of holes he'll realize you're keeping track.
  10. My first measured drive on a gps was 238. I would have sworn it was 265 because I was at the 150 sign and the sprinkler head on the tee box measured 415. They don't always measure correctly, folks.
  11. We love this show. Not a big fan of the Send/Save card. Carling ftw!
