Thanks everyone, I tried swinging with my feel closer together and a little closer to the ball and that makes swinging the club feel much better. I am going to try and get to the range today and see what happens.

I played a round of golf last week and was hitting the ball really well, went to the driving range a couple times and still hitting the ball well. I played a round of golf yesterday and most of my iron shots were going right, not a slice but like I was aiming right... So if I were aiming at lets say 12 o' clock I was hitting it in between 1-2 o'clock, just way off target... What causes this because its really bugging me... Could I be standing to far away from the ball? I don't have any videos but anyone who as experienced this please chime in.

I found putting the ball more towards the middle of my stance helps me out... I use to put the ball just inside my left foot but found I sliced the ball more, once I put the ball more toward the middle it has really helped.

Anytime, I don't think you could go wrong with any PING set. Go to your local golf shot hit a couple sets and find the one that works best for you. To me it sounds like the S5x series would be a fit for you. I needed the G10's because I am still learning the game, and having the G10's irons really helped me.

I started out using PING eye's, then just recently switched to G10's. I know they aren't mentioned on the list but I am amazed in the quality of the G10's and the forgiveness of the clubs.

Me too! I never thought in my wildest dreams I would have to pull a gun on someone. It was a messed up situation with the people that use to own the house before us (messed up son)... I forgot to lock the door to the garage and left the back door unlocked, I live in a nice neighborhood so I thought nothing of it till I heard my truck alarm going off, then while running down stairs with the gun seeing the guy in our house grabbing stuff... He is in a mental institution now, so we are good

I have a couple shot guns, two 12 gauges, 20 pump, and a double barrel .410. I have one rifle which is a mosin nagant, 4 hand guns two .22, 9mm, and .40. I am hoping in the future I can pick up an AR. I always keep my 40 cal under the bed, and I have actually had to pull it on a home intruder. Thankfully he listened and I didnt try making a run at me, and I was able to keep him down as the cops came.

^^^^ Thats what I am worried about, who will have to drive the mini van in our family lol. We cant afford to drive a big SUV (gas and what not) so I think a mini van will be in our future in the next year or so. The wife has the SUV right now and I have the truck, there is no way I am giving up the truck lol.

Played in 32 deg weather Sunday, with my under armor and hoodie I was good to go... I actually plan on playing Saturday (suppose to be 28*) if the wind isnt going to be howling to bad.

I have the G10's and are really liking them, if you look around you might be able to find them cheaper. I was able to get mine for 399 brand new.

Was able to get out and play 9 today... The ground was very solf, no ball roll whatsoever, and the 20-25mph wind kicked my butt, but I had a blast anyways! I hope the rain holds out tomorrow and I can get out again.

I just got a Sun Mountain MPB and love it. It has a 14 way divider, cooler pouch (works), putter tube, and the legs can be zipped up if you are going to be putting it on a cart.

Its suppose to be 50* Friday, anybody planning on trying to get a round in? I will be visiting the in-laws so I hope to get a game or two in if the weather will cooperate.

Its hard for me to join a club/course because me and my friends like to play different courses. I would be afraid that I wouldn't get my money out of it if I joined a club.

Couple months ago picked up a brand new set of Ping G10's for 399 as a early Christmas present. I wouldn't call Walmart a golf store but I picked up 2 dozen Precept Laddies X's for 20 bucks...

Depends on how many I have really... Me and my brother took my brother in law out when he first came in town, I shot a 43 front 9 and proceeded to shoot a 65 back 9 lol. So I would have to say yes but that outing was just for fun. If I have a few beers while playing it loosens me up, but if I have more than 6 I see a drop in my game.

I wanted wanted to play Stone Creek this winter but the weather didnt let me. I still have till March to get the winter rate for Stone Creek, but if the course is as good as some say I might have to fork up the 50 dollars to play..
