  1. Finished full speed spectrum finally after being sick a couple times..Come a long way since August, not too shabby at 53. Recommended neural drive next. My best gains were 200g and above for high percentile. I saw some gains in the 80?-165 range but the real light weights is not my strong area..
  2. Hey out of curiosity how close is your e speed to driver speed? I’m pretty on maybe a couple mph more if I’m warmed up, just curious. My 280g is slowly going up I’m hoping that’s an indicator of getting faster, hope to be at 100 like you one day!
  3. Finished foundation, recommended full speed spectrum, or neural next. Gonna try full speed. Pretty good results at 53. Gonna keep it going. Wondering if some trail arm work on the side would help as I’m a natural lefty but learned righty. Hopefully get in the 110-115 range and 160+ ballspeed.
  4. I started off good but went flat, and downhill. Have I really regressed and gotten slower or am I just fatigued? I feel good and lift weights on alternate days. These last several sessions have been heavy sets followed by the 195 and I’m out of gas to put up a good number..one more session preview is 300, 100, 100, 195..
  5. Is the 1st foundation sessions the same weights for everyone? I’ve got four sessions left and these last few have been 300 g swings every session with a light set then max 195… whew
  6. I ordered the stack with this radar last month and it’s fantastic. I’m going right into this system but the ease of it auto recording swings is great. No complaints, halfway through first foundation..
  7. Any ideas why on my first screenshot I hit it in sweet spot with a neutral starting face and only got 4200 spin even checking all the boxes but the second one face was wide open and caught it a couple grooves low and got in the 5500 range? The only thing I can think of is my grooves are more worn than I think but I thought Mayo used a wedge with no grooves and got high spin? I can’t remember if face location mattered as much as AoA and dynamic loft numbers. Some of these guys are getting 5-6000 spin on the same 15 yd shot! I’d prefer not to open the face because my own tendency is to roll my forearms on the way back, just a wierd eye thing I guess.. cheers! John
  8. Part 2: I experimented with opening the face some like a bunker shot and got my spin up at least but felt like I’m hitting it very low on the face also really had to work to get dynamic loft down on this one..shouldn’t have to open the face this much or am I not used to that?? Yes sir. I believe the test or triad mayo put out was double digit aoa, sub 30 launch, 15 yard carry. Numbers off the top I think he liked 12 down, 45-46 dynamic loft and 28.5 launch..
  9. I decided to give this a try in the garage. Contact was good on the mat, used painters tape to ensure low point control. I can’t get in the 5000+range spin. New pro v1, club and grooves clean, 60* wedge only a couple years old..I wouldn’t think worn grooves. Face was pretty square at setup.
  10. Just a follow up, I had the best lessons ever on gears with the best instructor! Wish I would’ve made the drive earlier in the year but put it together during a golf trip. Gears was incredible to see your swing in 3d with all the necessary data. I’ve had very few formal lessons in the past and a couple online but nothing compared to working with Erik. He made it very comfortable and relaxed, patient with all my questions and showed some swing comparisons of pros swings. Our main focus was getting the pelvis to move in a better pattern and when he first pushed on my hip with that pvc going back it was like a “wow” moment. And to see the affects in real time just made it quicker to adapt and learn how to find it again, however, even without gears I’m sure it would’ve been an awesome lesson..it’s just nice for some players to see the facts, no debate… At the end of the 1st session I was shocked at the video seeing my pelvis move better, hips open, no early extension. I was literally like I can’t believe that video capture is me! I’m glad I had a second session the following morning, just to reinforce the earlier ideas and work on the next piece to complete the movement, and we still had plenty of time to mess around with lower priority ideas for later. I left that afternoon armed with a practice plan, he took extra time to show me what to look for on my own video and I got a copy of LSW. We’ll continue on evolvr for checkups until another road trip for sure! I also just ordered the stack system with his discount code to work on some speed training as well. Just wanted to share my appreciation for all Erik’s help and anyone finding there way here like I did over the winter to give it a try!
  11. It’s Louisville, so from living here in Kentucky for 28 years, it doesn’t surprise me.. lucky he didn’t get tazed.. Not saying scottie is in the right, just guessing it escalated quickly. And this is why I stay in Lexington:-)
  12. It’s good to see Tom Kim up there on the leaderboard. Didn’t really know much about him until watching Netflix full swing season 2? I was looking at Schauffele shot tracker and man he hit some great iron shots and drained everything 15ft and in..
  13. Yeah I’m sure 90% of the data will be interesting stuff from watching YouTube videos. I bet it’s cool to manipulate changes in real time. The only other thing I need to figure out is a good place for dinner in the area one night
  14. I am, and doing two sessions since it runs into a weekend golf trip nearby. Wish I knew earlier I would’ve gone before last years trip. I’ve been writing a few curious questions but yeah will just go with his expertise, gonna be fun!
  15. I’m heading up in a few weeks to go through gears and very excited, been waiting all winter to make the drive up. After several years of watching amg videos and seeing other gears stuff it’s going to be cool to see my own swing in 3d, better or worse! With numbers on everything. I like tech and information but how do you not get bogged down with a full mri? Did you just go in with a couple things you’d like to know or work on? Do most just use 7 iron and driver? After going through gears and the limits of 2d video, do you feel like you have better awareness when you do film your own swing? cheers!
