Normally I got to TGW but recently a friend and I went to Golf Galaxy in KC and the guy spend 2 hours fitting my friend. IMO next time I will go there instead.

I went with the R9 460. I felt like it set up better. I liked the way it looks at address and it sounds and feels great. I would like to try out the Supertri... if the price came down.

Take the flag stick and stand behind them while they are putting.... in their back stroke, swing the flag like you were swinging a bat. The flag will make a loud whip sound.... its always good.

We play in the rain all the time. A friend comes in for a 3 day golf weekend all the time and its beautiful during the week and then wants to rain all weekend. We play through. I play at a private 9 hole and they NEVER close. PLAY ON!

yeah I would have to agree.. No arguments here... I think i should stick with something and just get good with it.... BUT I CANT... its like an addiction.... Max Power: I am pretty new to the golf game. I have a problem with buying stuff, trying it out and then selling it and getting something different. What I REALLY want to find is a set that i can actually tell the difference in them, and STICK with them instead of buying all of these different ones. Yeah i have gone in and tried them at the store, but hitting off the mat into a net and on an actual course is ALOT different for me.... Plus i like getting new toys... I figured that if i dont like the Burners, I can send them back to TGW within 30 days.

I would have to say, Check out the TaylorMade Burner. The woods and hybrids are on sale and i bought some. I like them SO much more than the Clevelands i was hitting before.

I am really thinking that because The Golf Warehouse has TM Burner Plus on sale for $349 and I have a $60 gift cert.... I might just have to drop the hammer on some new irons... FHopper: Where do you like to play in Wichita?

Here awhile back i bought a whole set of Cleveland Irons and switched out the 3-4 irons for 3-4 Cleveland DST Hybrids. I have always been "Hit or Miss" (no pun intended) with the DST hybrids. I was bored one day and went to The Golf Warehouse and tried the Taylormades to see if it was the fact that I am a crappy golfer, or the DST were actually difficult to hit. I was surprised to see that I was actually crushing the heck out of the Taylor Mades... So i ended up walking out with a pair. I have now had them out to the course 3 times and have used them several times and I am amazed! They hit so much easier than the DSTs. Now I am questioning my Cleveland irons and thinking about trying out the Taylor Made Burner Plus... dont know if it would make any difference or not.... heck, its only money right?

I play at a small 9 hole CC. For fun we pick a tee box and a green and make up a par. Its fun when you get a group of guys and the course is empty... Go from 1st tee box and hit for 5 green... and everyone agrees on a 8 for par... things like that.

How could you not just shrug your shoulders when that happens. That, and the sinking feeling in your stomach. It was a good tourney, wish Dustin Johnson would have done better..
