Expensive putters, are they worth it

Yes. I spent $400 on my OdysseyProType82. And it is the best putter I have ever owned It will take my putting game to a whole new level -
OK, thanks for the info. I'll skip the medicus. And with my current driver I do get some flex.
-
I read somewhere that if you do not know what shafts to get, say between STIFF and REGULAR, then go with the REGULAR. Because if you get a shaft that is too stiff then there is no place for you to go. But have more leeway with a shaft with more flex. FYI: I have never been fitted. I live in a place where there are no real golf fitting facilities. So in other words I'm in a bad spot. I would say I am pretty strong. But I don't think that equals getting a stiff shaft based on that point alone. I'm tempted to buy this http://www.medicus.com/medpower.php Quote: Wondering if you need a golf swing speed meter? Before you can increase your club head speed, you need to know your golf club swing speed and the Medicus Golf Power Meter tells you both instantly and accurately! Hit longer and straighter shots by increasing the power of your speed. Get instant feedback to improve consistency and control. With the Medicus Golf Power Meter, you'll discover that trying to swing harder can actually cause you to swing slower. You'll learn how to use your body to increase club head speed and club swing speed. A golf swing speed meter such as the Medicus PowerMeter allows you to have a Controlled Power Swing so that you consistently hit the ball farther and straighter! Unlike other golf swing speed meters the Medicus Power Meter is easily interchangeable between golf clubs. The Medicus Power Meter can work on woods and irons and is specifically designed to tightly fit on any shaft size. With programmable swing performance settings you can dial-in your actual golfer and club specifications. Achieve the ultimate swing and start using the Medicus® PowerMeter today! It's probably not perfect. But might give me something to go on.

18 holes a day? don't you have a job? -
screw tiger woods he is done, and he knows it he will never get back to what he was but spitting on the green is not something you should do, period who cares if he was pissed off, that doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want
-
yea, I was probably half asleep when I posted that sorry if I offended anyone

I like that Titleist bag
-
yup I have a PSA slabbed Masters score care (unused) signed by Phil as-well as a signed golf ball, but I have a feeling it might be fake, lol I might send it to PSA to have it authenticated

Just bought this off eBay
-
we all lose when the media continues to be put in fewer and fewer hands
-
just got this bad boy off eBay for the cool price of....wait....wait...$16US, lol what a sweet deal
-
not to sound like a downer, but Phil needs to stop messing up when it counts I really wanted him to win but again he made some unnecessary mistakes on the last few holes don't get me wrong, he is a great player he just needs to finish what he starts I always get excited watching him when he has a chance to win, then it always seems he makes mistakes and loses the tournament

kind of off topic but I didn't want to start another thread I better be getting my putter I ordered the website says it was shipped, and my credit card was charged even before it was shipped. Even though they say it won't be charged until it ships. Now My credit card is showing the roughly the amount I put on there to cover the putter I'm phoning them on Monday (golfsmith.com) I will be so disappointed if I don't get it. I check their site and there are no more LH 33" someone say a prayer for me to the golf purchasing gods?, lol there are only 2500 of these baby's made :(

I'm buying this bag this spring with my Taylormade Burner's 2.0
-
yea, that's a better title I tried to edit the title but I can't I think people get the point, with all the great input from everyone
-
I never realized how a long putter is affecting my game I just tested out my 35" and in my back-swing I hot the ground, not very good I know everyone is different, but I think the point of putting is to have a nice smooth pendulum swing. I know that's obvious. But I've been golfing for years and I just really figured this out. And I'm really good at putting. But with this length change I think I'm only going to get better
-
I'm getting this putter on Monday I'm going for the 33" It's $350US though, but I deserve it, lol
-
Thks for the replys. Sounds like I'm on to something here, personally that is. I think my next putter will be a little shorter. hopefully it can bring me some results on the green.

My only problem is where I live. I can't get fitted, and have to buy the clubs online. When I bought my last set of clones off eBay, I filled out a rough fitting questionnaire. According to that I fell within the "normal/average" range for everything. What I mean is that most of the specs were STANDARD.
