First time breaking par! Played 9 holes and shot 35. It's not that hard of a course, but still nice to break par. Two birdies one bogey. The only bogey i had was a 3 putt on the first hole... easily could have been a 34. Guess that's what keeps us coming back. 72 par | 6,223 yards | 119 slope 69.9 rating

Has the technology behind all his putters changed since the early 2000's? If you look at his 2002 newport 2.5 studio stainless and compare it to the 2010 newport 2.5 studio select, all i see is a new design with changeable weighting that no one changes. Don't get me wrong, i have nothing against his putters, but what has really changed in his putters?

It looks like you shoulder line is open in comparison to your foot line ( this will cause a slice). Your plane is pretty flat. Try to get that left shoulder down farther on your take a way- also bend over more. This will also keep your head from moving so much. (unless you have a neck injury?)

Picture came out weird.. it's right handed. I'm thinking about getting the fontana ghost or the Marinello ghost to replace this bad boy. Did you have the Core Classic before your ghost? Any comparison?

I have a Rossa Core Classic Fontana putter i bought used off of ebay. I've had it for a couple of months and now the black sylicone is coming off the face of it... Can i send it in to taylormade to get it fixed? Also, does anyone have the new ghost fontana, and how does it compare to the old one. Thanks!

Will i see a difference in spin between this wedge and my AW or PW because it has the conforming grooves?

Just bought a new taylormade burner 09 sand wedge from golfsmith.com and it had a little "c" stamped into it. Is it because i ordered it as an individual club? As of April i will have played one year. 2 months - 130's to 100's full swing didn't really improve a whole lot, but avoided 4 putts and playing ping pong over the green with a wedge. 2 months - Took a lesson and went from 100's to 90's. got rid of iron slices. (driver sliced) 4 months - broke 90 every other time. eliminated 3 putts, got up & down occasionally 3 months - took 3 lessons and went from 90's to a 8.1 handicap. Hitting a nice draw with the driver and irons. up & down 50% of the time, average less than 2 putts per green. Low 18 hole round is a 76 and 9 hole round is a 36. (par 72)

Really good stuff! Started my round yesterday par, bogey, bogey. Applied the stuff in here and shot a 77 :)

- What do you think about or do when you start off bogey, bogey. ( or par, double) - How do you not let nerves get to you when your on the 18th tee box and need a par to shoot your lowest round - Best tip you've been given Thanks!

(From a fellow 10 handicap) Seems like you have a lot of lower body movement. especially with your knees. compare your right knee flex to AK's knee flex Keep your chest pointed at the ground longer - (pause this video at 13 seconds )

What do you guys do to warm up and stretch your back before and after rounds? Specifically the lats.

iPutt - That can definitely happen if eat eat the wrong thing, or get fatigued... Do you usually do better of worse after the front nine? i find that i usually shoot the back nine 1-4 strokes better than the front. Probably because I'm warmed up and loose. Splifton - My putting was on fire! Before the round i really focused on my wedge game, and sinking 10 footers on the practice green.

Finally broke 40 today on 9 holes ( wish i had more time to play all 18) Here's the stats. FIR - 7/7 GIR - 4/9 Putts - 14 Scram - 3/5 Score - 38 Par 36 course 3100 yards I was even going into the last hole and double bogeyed it for a 38. Oh well... Still happy about breaking 40 :) This statistic is really true! ( to break 80 you have to hit 10/18 GIR, and putt no more than 32 times.) Started keeping track of my FIR/GIR/putts/Scrambles - Tells you what part of your game you need to work on!

Starting to see my drives and fairway woods go farther and straighter! My irons are still pushing 10-20 yards to the right and not quite a crisp contact... I'll try to get a new vid asap. For clarification- an inside/out swing path promotes a draw spin?
