I was hitting some 6 irons at Golfsmith to see what felt good, almost all showed 79-81 mph on the monitor. The sales guy said that shouldn't be trusted. The launch angle was 17 degrees and the spin was around 5500. I'm just wondering what a normal speed would be for a 6 compared to a driver. Thanks! Brad

Hmmm, it might not be the cart that makes you look like a dork....j/k. Until recently I only rode, but I picked up a SM Speed Cart for $60 and it's great. Plus I feel better walking than I did riding. I'm 38, not a dork, not do I care what the beer girls think or what others do.

Thanks for all the replies. I have heard both theories, multiple clubs (Golf Fix) vs. Single Club (Utley) and I have been struggling with the single club, mostly leaving it way short. I will try the multi-route, I think that will fit better with my playing style. Brad

I'm a high HC'er, but I have been trying to practice chipping using the same club, a 54 degree SW. My question is, do those of you in the 10 - 15 HC range (my short term goal) change clubs based on how much green vs. fairway you have or do you stick with one club? Thanks! Brad

I just got back from a lunchtime session at the range hitting almost nothing but the driver using pointers from the video. I have very good results. I would say about 75% of the drivers where + or - a few degrees of center if not center. This is much better than my normal spray. Does anyone have a similar video with S&T; iron basics? Thanks! For a true ketchup comparison, it would be like if you went to McDonalds and in their ketchup bin was a packet from Burger King. If you took that one, how does that affect McDonalds? BTW - I can't believe how much activity this thread has, pretty funny stuff.
