  1. I'm with you. I can't putt with it at all. Im still waiting to replace mine.
  2. thats what im thinking too. All my other clubs are stiff shaft as well.
  3. As i have progressed as a golfer over the last year, i have noticed that i am able to swing much harder and still get good contact...except on my driver. When i don't swing as hard i hit my drives around 230-240 and straight. When i swing harder, i am getting it around 260-270 but not as straight. I am still hitting the center of the club face though. Would it help to change to a stiff shaft? I am using the regular stock shaft on my tm r9 460. This problem only occurs with my driver...all the way up to my 3 wood, i am able to swing hard and hit the ball farther and straight. Thanks
  4. I wear an under armour cold gear golf pull over. A long sleeve shirt and that keeps me warm. It was 32 in pa on sunday, and i wasn't cold at all. Just my hands :)
  5. I tried these. They felt OK, but not great.
  6. ok thanks. I'll check them out
  7. No i haven't toyed with it. I am 6-1 and the putter is 35 inches long. It doesn't feel too light i don't think...
  8. Thanks for the help. And wrx_junkie, i just can't get the speed right with the 2 ball. It helps for alignment, but that's about it. I either leave it short or it goes way past the whole. After comparing some blade putters to my 2 ball, i just feel like i can judge the distance better. I also don't like the insert of the odyssey. I don't get enough feel from it. I might try the odyssey black series as well.
  9. Basketball? Nike owns the basketball industry. They sponsor the best players and have the best equipment. Not to mention the fact that they own Jordan.
  10. I am looking to switch from my odyssey 2 ball to a blade putter. My local pro shop has several Nike method putters that are on sale and they feel very nice. All of the SC are out of stock for the time being, so i would have to order one. Before I spend an extra $100 on a SC, i would like to hear some feedback from people that have used both. Is the Scotty worth the extra money? I know it is a personal preference and that putting is about confidence, but do the two feel that much different. I was looking at the SC newport or newport 2. Thanks
  11. Ok, thanks for the help.
  12. Taylormade R9 460. My dad and i both have one and we love it. It is very forgiving, yet you can still work the ball well. The Adjustments are also nice. I have hit all of the top drivers and i like this one the best. But i would suggest hitting several different ones. What is best for some people isn't going to work the best for you.
  13. I am looking to get new grips for my clubs. I was looking at the golf pride tour wrap 2g and winn excel wrap. They both feel pretty soft and tacky. Has anyone used these? What do you think? Also, is there a difference between the two?
  14. Yeah it is the rayon, i just looked at it. Thanks for the help. I will look at it soon, right after i get a better putter. Thanks!
  15. The nike has a mitsubishi graphite shaft. I think it is the fubuki.
  16. I currently have a nike SQ 3 wood. It feels nice and looks nice, but i can't hit it consistently straight. I have the R9 460 driver, so i figured i might like the 3 wood. I can't really tell how i hit it at dicks, because the one closest to me doesn't have a simulator. Any thoughts?
  17. My dad and I both have the 460. It is an amazing driver. The adjustments really help. The club face is very forgiving and the Aldila shaft is very nice as well.
  18. My CG12 is a 54/12.
  19. I agree. I love my CG12s. I tried the CG15s, and they didn't look or feel as good.
  20. I use the E6 too. They are great balls. If you can swallow the price, try the tour b330rxs. They are the best balls i have ever used. You get the straight ball flight of the e6, with a ton of distance, and excellent spin on the greens.
  21. I use the cg12s and love them. The weight of the vokeys is why i decided not to get them. To me, they felt heavier and i didn't like that. Try them out. I think you will find that they are what you are looking for.
  22. I got callaway diablo edge irons as an early christmas present from my parents.
  23. I use the walter hagen aws hybrids, only because i hit them better than every other brand. They are not a big name brand, but they work. They are buy 1 get 2 free at dicks.
  24. I am 15 and have been using mens clubs for awhile, but i am also 6 1. My brother is 13 and only about 5 4 and he uses the x 20s. they are a little long, but he hits them well and will grow into them nicely. Your son could always just choke up on the club a little for now.
  25. try the walter hagen aws hybrid. i know they aren't that popular, but they are very nice. they have a graffalloy pro launch shaft and are very easy to get up in the air. plus, they are buy 1 get 2 free at dicks.
