I picked up the Callaway 08 irons from a coworker last summer. I have recently developed a draw with my driver and irons this season. When I first got the irons last season I hit them strait most of the time. Now I either draw them or hook them. I can't get them consistent and they are holding back the rest of my game.

Does anyone have any tips for me? I was thinking of getting a different set of irons with more feedback, I posted before about this and was told a good player can shoot a good round regardless of the equipment (within reason). Would having a club without a major offset allow me to play the ball with a fade? or at least better control trajectory? Was thinking I could ebay my irons and pick up some mizuno mp57's for a relatively small out of pocket price.

Just quick questions.

1. Are you setting up with a closed face?

2. Do you draw or hook other irons?

I played the 2008 Big Berthas for two years and they are very easy to set up with a closed face. The grip was screwing me up. I changed the grip to a wrapped grip and then all was fine.
