Callaway's first Adjustable Driver will be hitting the market soon.  They had the I-miz line but that was just for shafts.  Seems kind of late to the game, after a few years of their rival (if you can call them that anymore) TMAG already releasing and selling drivers with this kind of technology.

Quote:

"Out of the box, the RAZR Fit will come with a neutral face angle, but you can open the face 2.5° or close the face 1.5°using a torque wrench to unscrew the head from the shaft and re-attach it in one of three different settings.

The RAZR Fit comes with a 12-gram weight in the toe area and a 2-gram weight in the heel, but using the same torque wrench, the weights can be switched to increase the draw bias of the club."

I won't buy another Callaway driver because they tend to fail.  I've read about it on the web and wouldn't have believed it myself until I shattered mine......

Their thin composites aren't the most reliable....the above driver is a 3yr old FT-5.

I Called Callaway and asked if they'd send a replacement head and they said no.  The best they could do was sell me a RAZR for $270.  They called that bargain a "non warranty exchange" ...LOL I told them no thanks and went to a different brand for a replacement.....

My 2 cents....don't buy a Callaway!!

What's in Paul's Bag:

Did you have the head re-shafted? If it's stock I'll take it.

Same exact thing happened to my FT-9.  Don't expect a driver to completely fall apart after 3 seasons of play.  Callaway told me they would give me a non warranty exchange, so I expected at least a 20% discount on a new driver.  They told the golf fitter to give me 10% off.  Long story, short, that is the last Callaway product I will buy!
