  1. Patchogue is the station that you want. Or alternatively you could get the train at Jamaica (parking would be a problem at Jamaica). There aren't that many trains that go to Montauk, and the trip takes a long time. It's about 3 hours from Jamaica and about an hour and a half from Patchogue. Here's the LIRR schedule for the Montauk branch.
  2. Savannah Harbor is very nice. The PGA Senior's Tour used to play the Legends of Golf Tournament there. Savannah Golf - The Club at Savannah Harbor - 912 201 2240 The Club at Savannah Harbor offers unparalleled views of historic downtown Savannah while it gently winds its way through tidal wetlands.
  3. 72 years old. Warmed up for 30 minutes, then played 18 holes. After getting home, did a 20 minute EMOM; Minute 1 - 20 jump squats. Minute 2 - 20 Russian Kettlebell swings. After that, did my Max Swing Speed training routine. Stretched, showered, dinner, TV & relax for the rest of the day.

  5. Been doing CrossFit for about 2 years. I'm 65 years old and I've always been fit, because of running, biking, going to the gym, flexibility training, etc. But I can honestly say that I've never been is as good shape as I am now. When I play with other guys in my age group they marvel at my flexibility and my swing speed. I highly recommend it.
  6. I haven't tried Insanity or P90X. They both look like very productive routines But I do agree that Cross Fit is great workout! It's the most productive workout protocol that I've used in over 30 years of working out. And as a previous poster said, the workouts are scaled to your own individual fitness level.
