  1. The elbow dislocation definitely isn't a pretty one, up there with the ankle dislocation in my opinion. But he'll be alright. I'm not bragging but my first dislocation of my right shoulder was more gruesome than his elbow, although that was still a pretty bad one. My most recent (last month) shoulder dislocation actually didn't look that bad. Anyways, best of luck to him, he's certainly got my sympathy.
  2. I think it should be Harrington no matter what. As much as I love Tiger, you just can't give it to him since he only was around for half the year. And please tell me that you're kidding me with throwing Greg Norman's name into the mix. Stupidest thing I've ever read, if that is what you mean.
  3. Golf.....tattoo? Really? That's pretty amusing to say the least but I would never ever consider gettting one. And thats not because I'm against tattoos, I have a pretty large one on my right shoulder blade. Like other people have said before though, a tattoo really should mean A LOT to you (mine is an autism awareness ribbon and I have an autistic brother) and I can't ever see a game getting that important to me. Its kind of like the people who have a tattoo of their favorite sports team, except much weirder. But hey, that's just me. Don't let me stop you if you're thinking about it...
  4. Because they got really excited and celebrated? Come on, let them have a little fun with it. I mean, I rarely get into swimming but just by watching the last 50 meters of that race I knew that I was watching an AMAZING performance happen. To run down Bernard (world record holder, I think?) to win the gold for his relay team in unprecedented style is something to get excited about. Plus, Phelps is pretty young at 23 years old.
  5. I don't know a ton about the Jets offensive line but the sense I've gotten is that it looks good on paper but has a lot of new pieces so it may take a little while for it to perform as a great working unit. It has young guys like D'Brickashaw Ferguson and Nick Mangold who are extremely talented. They also have older guys like Damien Woody and Alan Faneca who have been good lineman in the past but are getting up there in years. They also have Brandon Moore and guard, but I don't really know squat about him. Bottom line, it may take some time for them to get in sync but it could be a good group.
  6. Hmm, that's pretty interesting to say the least. Maybe manboobs are really the secret to a spectacular short game...
  7. To be honest, I'm not entirely sold that this was a great move by the Jets. They have a very tiny chance of making the Super Bowl due to being in the AFC and in a relatively tough division and this move is all about their immediate future. Granted, some of their free agency acquisitions are more about the immediate future than the long term but I just don't think that they should be selling so much just for a year or two of possibly making the playoffs. They should be trying to build a good core of young players in order to have long term success. Basically, I see the Jets possibly making the playoffs and then losing the first game that they play. Oh, and have fun listening to the months of Brett Favre retirement drama, I surely won't miss it.
  8. There are plenty in Wisconsin too, and its a shame. Most of them are now ignorantly calling for Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy to be fired.
  9. Yeah, I agree that the slave comment could have been avoided but I think thats the only part about this that people can complain about, the rest is him just being honest. And its not like he used the word slave to be a racist, he just used it by the definition of the word, even if it is insensitive.
  10. I think it all depends on the course. If it is a nice course that charges a good amount then there should be a dress code. But courses like my home course which is in a small town, 9 holes, and never in that great of condition shouldn't require a dress code.
  11. Mine was $300 this year, and that was after the owner dropped the price because I'm at college part of the time. It really isn't worth near that amount.
  12. Is it really that bad that he offered his opinion? Plus, not everyone is made for formal events.
  13. Uhh, a few years ago it was held about 40 minutes away from me at Whistling Straits, I guess that's it for me. I'll still watch it obviously because its a major, but I still think it plays little brother to all the other majors.
  14. Yeah, I caught time with both of them today and I just about fell asleep when Michelle wasn't being shown in the Reno-Tahoe Open. In fact, during the tournament they actually zoomed in on two girls who fell asleep while watching from the rough (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm almost certain it wasn't the Bridgestone tournament).
  15. Sorry, iacas has you on this one. Being 19 and a college student, both the average male and female 17 year olds aren't always articulate and scintillating. Unless using "like" every other word is a sign of brilliance. Your wife's AP students may be, but those are pretty driven individuals usually. And just because someone is heading to a top university doesn't me they are articulate. That's just us kids, we sound like idiots a lot.
