Once I move to my new place, which will have enough room to pitch in, I think I will get one of those - curious to hear feedback as well

The golf range in Elmsford, NY has two of them. The mat is fantastic as it reacts just like a normal fairway: hit good shots, hit bad shots. Since the middle is higher than the ends and there is a bit of a slope, you can practice hitting from different angles. This is a terrific invention.

The only problem is that these mats are only available when the instructors are not teaching.

That is very good news to hear. a buddy of mine said his nephew had nothing but positive things to say in regards to this. I think I know what I'm getting the wife for Valentines Day.

Our high school team has practiced in the winter with this mat for the last few years. It is very realistic and allows you too feel fat shots because you can actually dig in. With regular mats, the club just skips into the ball. This mat is an excellent product.
