Has anyone on here weighted their drivers with extra weight? I have mine set to nuetral with two 14 gram weights in the center and 1 gram head/toe. Was wondering what was the popular choice head/toe for a little more weight and did it make any notable differences in drive distance?

I have mine set to a draw with the 2 12's in the heel. However the swing weight should be the same in yours. It just might launch it even higher now with all the weight in the back.

That's what i'm hoping for and thinking about with some extra weight. I dont seem to carry the ball as far with my 8.5* Superquad as I did with my old lead taped 8.5* 983k driver. Figured I might as well get some heavier tlc weights then to lead tape it.

That's a lot of weight. Maybe you should have gone with a higher lofted club. Also you could reshaft it if you haven't done so already.

I meant tlc weights>lead tape. I wouldn't lead tape a superquad, just thinking about adding a few grams at the head and toe. I've had to re-learn where to tee the ball up and everything. It has a mid/boring trajectory now when hit good. I just seem to hit it different from one round to another it seems like.

Been wanting to see what it looks like on a launch monitor but havent had the chance to. It still has the stock stiff reax in it.

If you move the ball forward in your stance about a 1" it might help you hit it higher without adding the weight. Worth a try!
