Massachusetts Members, Custom Putter Fiting Options

I'll freely admit that I picked up my scotty cameron because it was a scotty cameron. I have some game but I cannot putt for my life and is the sole reason my handicap will plateau where I am and is now actually climbing due to a lack of practice time.

I've never had my stroke looked at or been fitted for a putter. I can't trust local stores because they seem to be filled with teenagers and people who will feed you whatever you want to hear to make a spiff on a sell.

Has anyone in New England experienced a true putter fitting... I guess money isnt an issue because I'm looking to due this in the offseason and make a true purchase that fits my approach and stroke.

I havent but I know a place where if you ask anyone to get fitted for anything in the Boston area this guy's name will be brough up. Frank Viola, he works out of a place in Saugus called the Ace of Clubs. Here is the link to his website. http://www.aceofclubstp.com Im not sure if he does putter fitting but he makes custom clubs and does a lot of fitting. Im not sure what side of Boston you're form but if you are from the north side saugus should just be up route 1 so it wont be too bad of a drive.

Yah, you were there for Murph and Kevin right. Kevin left and there is a new guy, Craig, who is running the caddies. He came out of California and was a pro up in New Hampshire, not too bad. THe T-Cup is early this year, last week of June and I have to miss it becuz im going to Florida, so i can kiss $400 goodbye.

yeah, I only looped to get out on Mondays and Thursday rounds on the primrose. I was a bad caddie because I really hated carrying the bag, its so hard looping such a nice course when all you want to do is play!

I live over in west roxbury so I'm so close to the course...

but, I graduated from college last year and have been working in the real world so unfortunately the golf is still there but just practice time has been slammed
