Hi

So I've been browsing the forums and I think I understand the relation between grip sizes and shafts, I'm thinking of regripping my Titleists with a 0.600 Midsize Tour Velvet cord grip (DG R300 shafts), but when I was checking the specs of my Ping G5 (Aldila NV 65-R) it has a diameter of 0.620. How would I get the grips to match up?

A.) Would I use a 0.600 grip standard size with a double layer of tape?
B.) 0.580 grip standard size?

I've been using this site:
http://www.angelfire.com/pa/TWGOLF/fitinfo.html#grip

Is that the right way to think about it?

Oh and is a Tour Velvet Cord a good choice for a tacky grip?

Thank you in advance!

No idea what grip size to use, but the Tour Velvet Cord is a very tacky grip, extra good if you're playing in wet conditions.
