I'm looking for what Ping considers standard length for their irons. How does the length work with respect to black and blue color (dot) code system? My Titleist 755 5i is 38" long (standard). Some of the Pings I've seen (on-line) show 37.75" but it's not clear what color code that's for. Is a standard (i.e. no length added or subtracted) black and blue dot club the same length? Also, do their newer clubs still use the color code system? Any help is appreciated!

I am pretty sure that the standard length for all Ping 5-irons is 37.75", no matter what color code they are. Callaway and Titleist irons are 37.75 while Taylormade is 37.75.
All Ping irons still use the color code dot system for lie angle differences.

Hope this helps.

Yeah the dot system is for the club head and black dot is standard lenghth and standard lie. and I think the blue dot is .75 upright. and it does up from there. I hit Ping I10 and I love them. If you are looking to by a set I would go getting fitted for them bc they can tell you if you need standard length and stanard lie. But the shafts are all standard length regardless of the lie of the club head. I hope this helps you out.
