I'm a huge Yankees fan but going to games has become ridiculously expensive. Yet, I tried to get tix to the All Star game for my son and I. No luck and those tix available were the price of a family vacation. Yesterday, my nephew called me and offered me two tickets to "Home Run Derby." This is really a kids event so I figured, "why not?" I asked him how much they were. Ready for this? $350 for two tickets.

The Yankees and MLB have decided to charge fans a "building usage" charge and a "facilities" tax. What in the world is going on? I've been to six World Series and never spent more than $100 for a box seat.

Does anyone else think this is nuts of the Yanks and MLB? Has anyone gone to Home Run Derby? If so, how much did you pay?

The Yankees ticket prices are ridiculous man. I stopped going about two years ago. I've been to 15 yankee games in my life (I'm only 16)..I used to go to a TON when I was little, that was before they jacked up the price. It was a fun experience as a little kid, I'm sure you're son would enjoy the games a lot, but I don't blame you with the prices.

Now, my dad and I go to Philadelphia Phillies games - I'm still a Yankees fan, don't like Phildelphia, but the Phillies games are cheap. For 50 bucks we were 10 rows up from the field, and I got to meet Johnny Gomes before he stepped in for B.P. and got his autograph (they were playing the TB Rays)

No, your other account was deleted because every post you made included a URL that, if I see it again, will result in me deleting THIS account, too.
