I think I am going to buy a Tour Burner today and I want to know if I should keep the stock shaft in it. Ideally what should I do? I hate spending 299.00 on a club and then another 100.00 to have a shaft put in it. How is the stock stiff shafts in these clubs? Swing speed 100-110mph. I was thinking about going with the L4V, but everyone I have talked to LOVES the Tour Burner.

Its a great club. I have the Burner and i prefer the Tour Burner much more. Are you buying it from a store? You can usually upgrade the shaft instead of purchasing the stock one. The shaft on the club is a pretty good shaft as is...but let them fit your and you'll find the best shaft for you.

The stock shaft is really solid, but the biggest thing is if you have a higher launch angle then you should probably get a lower launching shaft. I had to find this out the hard way, I carry the ball like 135-140 and get almost no roll, again since I have a higher launch angle. Now I need to get a new shaft in the club, but my mom is going to pay for up to $70.

If your going to spend $299, you may want to take a few minutes and hit some different shafts and get fitted - otherwise you'll have a nice new club that won't do a thing for you.
