I'm gonna take a guess and say the TM Burner Draw promotes, well, a draw.

Personally I'd stay away from the draw driver and stick with the regular TM Burner. It's a great driver.

Heres what it says for the Draw:

Product Detail The TaylorMade Burner Draw Driver was developed for players who want ultimate distance off the tee with slice-correcting features. An effective MOI of 5800 means more speed, more distance and more fairways. The advanced bullet-shaped 460cc head and SuperFast Technology promote faster swing speed and faster ball speed. Bomb away. Features: • Advanced bullet-shaped 460cc head incorporating more slice-correcting features than any other TaylorMade driver • Promotes faster swing speed, faster ball speed and a right-to-left ball flight for longer distance • SuperFast Technology incorporates longer length, lighter shaft and lighter grip • Inverted Cone Technology for distance on mis-hits • Effective MOI exceeding 5800 (USGA conforming) • Revolutionary TaylorMade RE*AX shaft And Regular: Product Detail The new TaylorMade Burner Driver was developed for players who want ultimate distance off the tee. the regular version sets up kinda closed anyway, so unless your trying to fight a slice, the regular version should be fine.

I had a bad slice so I decided on the burner draw. The first time I swung the club I had a nice draw. I love this club. I no longer slice the ball. Everything I hit is either a slight fade or straight. I would recommend this club if you have a slice, but if you hit it straight, don't bother, it could just make you hook the ball.

I'm probably in the minority among high handicappers, but I'm not a fan of draw biased clubs. I used to have a bad slice (still do sometimes), but I was able to correct it by working on my swing. I didn't want to be dependent on a certain club to be able to hit the ball straight. Now I usually hit it straight or with a little bit of push or pull. So I say go with the regular Burner and work on your swing, but that's just my opinion.

If you fight a slice (right handed golfer always hitting it on a curve from left to right) then the draw would work well. If you slice it at least 80% of the time, then go for the draw. If you push the ball - doesn't curve, just goes right, or if you hit it straight 50% of the time or actually draw the ball ( curve from right to left) then go with the basic burner. I think you will be pleased with the club after deciding on which version your game needs.

I think people should get clubs that arent draw biased. How can your game improve in the long run if you use clubs right now that fix your slice for you now? People should just get regular clubs and work on their game because in the long run you will be a better golfer for it.
That is unless you have been golfing forever and just cant straighten your shot.

I would recommend you wait until October, if possible. Taylormade is scheduled to release its new Burner, then. Even if you don't like the new one, the previous model will be discounted and you can save a bundle.

FWIW, I was demoing some clubs and saw a Burner for $179.

I would think that you would try to correct your slice than get something that corrects it for you?

Either way, if it's out there, I guess it's an option.

    • Day 29 (9 Dec 25) - PW dink and rolls as well as low flighted chips.  Dink and rolls - set up with club head toe down/heel up to promote low flight, plenty of roll out.  Low flighted pitches - club flat on the ground to get ball up a Rick more and check more.   No more than 10yds total distance - focus on getting the ball to finish near (within 10’ dia circle) the target “pin”…
