Recently upgraded my irons and now I have an interesting dilemma. My CG14's look like freaking snow shovels compared to all my other irons. They are really big compared to all my other clubs. I also carry an X-forged 64 that I am absolutely in love with... I hit it more then any other club in my bag except for putter.

I strike them so well though, but I really notice the head size now for some reason. I love the weight of the club, I have the distances worked almost perfectly, but the heads are HUGE... never noticed it until recently.

Do all wedges have this disconcerting look to them?

The reason I ask: Is there a small head wedge that has a REALLY heavy swing weight? My X-forged 64 feels really light compared to the CG-14's but I love the club head at address.

Also, my 64 wedge has now earned the name "magic" with my playing partners. I hit it that well from 30 yds and out to about 80yds.

Unless it is really getting to you, I wouldnt worry about it. If you hit them right, that is all that really matters. Vokeys are very nicely weighted, and I dont believe they are quite as big as the CG14s IIRC, but probably not worth the change if you are gitting them so well.

      Wow that was disingenuous. Like, let’s ignore that golfers actually rotate. It isn’t all side bend. Has incorrect or excessive side bend hurt golfers sure. In no way are golfers taught to just fling their hips towards the target. To basically claim it’s him versus this evil golf instruction industry is just disingenuous.

      I'm starting to move with some speed and confidence. Carried the fairway bunker 225 yards out on the 17th yesterday fairly comfortably. I don't think it was a one off drive either. Pretty much back to game speed. On another note it doesn't seem like my pelvis is nearly as thrusty compared to a this time last year. I hope I'm judging that correctly. It's an ongoing battle.
