Web Developer Challenge

I'll keep this short as I have about a million things to do today in preparation for the Newport Cup.

The main page of this site is fairly well borked under IE8 (unless you're in compatibility mode). If a Web developer out there can tell me what I need to do to fix the site, they'll get a free copy of Scorecard for their time.

It's probably a few-minute fix - I just don't have the few minutes right now. I think a div or something somewhere is missing a break or the widths aren't adding up the way IE8 wants them to or something.

Grab the current source from the home page and play with it locally until you can find the answer - that's probably the way to go.

I'll check back here later tonight - quickly - for an answer. Hopefully someone will have figured it out. First one to get the right answer(s) wins the license.

First thing I notice is that you have open tags.

I don't; WP-SuperCache doesn't like the list_cats() call for the Columns for some reason and truncates the page before showing the list. I thought at first it was the ' in Hittin' the Links, but I removed that and there are still problems.

I'll troubleshoot it later. For now I removed "Columns" and it seems to work fine.

Note: The source code is neat, the problem is completely from Internet Explorer.

Thanks - but wasn't IE 8 supposed to be the more "standards compliant" browser? The site works in every other major browser.
