Hello everyone,

Of course I want to say, great site. My name is Ryan and I'm 22. I'm still a golf newbie but I'm looking forward to playing a lot this year. My company paid for my membership to our local country club this year, and I've always wanted to learn the game better, so this is the year I begin my journey.

I just recently purchased a very slightly used set of Taylormade 200 steel irons on ebay, can't even tell they were ever used. We were fortunate enough to have a 50 degree day earlier in the week so I had the opportunity to try them out at our local driving range. So far, so good. I was hitting pretty consistently and straight. These clubs are very forgiving. I also just purchased a brand new Taylormade R580XD driver on ebay. It is in shipping... I should receive it shortly. I heard nothing but good things about this driver.. and the main thing was how forgiving it is.

I have spring fever like crazy now, what used to be baseball season... is now going to be golf season for me.

Thanks to everyone on the board for all of the great info. I'll be here awhile.
