Hi,

I've picked up another 20-30 yards off the tee this year and noticed that my shaft is no longer stiff enough (Regular stock Diamana on the original Sasquatch) and I need to upgrade but I don't really know what I should be looking for in a new shaft

I'm happy with my ball flight as is and I'm hitting around 250-265 now (in pretty damp conditions) but that's all I know as potential criteria.

Any tips?

thanks,

Why don't you just sell/trade the club for the same club with the OEM stiff shaft?

It is obviously working so why do you need a new shaft? Is it going way right or what?

Here's what I play:

Hi,

Took a look on eBay and a used stiff club looks like a good option, I'll keep an eye out for that.

With the increased swing speed I've picked up this year I'm having trouble controlling the clubface so I'm spraying it more than I used. I tried my friend's extra stiff Burner and it was definitely a big improvement over my regular.

I too am shopping for a new shaft, I'm thinking of getting an epic or a voodoo, But i just have one question, Can all driver shafts be used by any driver? like a Callaway shaft be used by a Taylormade driver?

It depends on the tip diameter, they must be the same.

P.S. your really good, how long did it take to get to a +11 handicap? What's your stroke average?

Here's what I play:

Titleist 907 D2 10.5* UST ProForce V2 76-S | Titleist 906F4 18.5* Aldila VS Proto "By You" 80-S | Titleist 585H 21* Aldila VS Proto "By You" 80-S | Titleist ZB 4-PW TTDG S300 | Bob Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 54.10 | Bob Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 60.08 | Scotty Cameron Red X5 33" |

Hi,

What is your swing speed? And how fast is your transition (tempo; scale it from 1 to lowest and 10 the fastest)?

This is my second year playing, I usually shoot mid 80s to high 70s.

But could i put one of the callaway I-Mix shafts on my Taylormade burner?

Just as an FYI a + handicap means you shoot under-par consistently.

And to answer you question no, because the I-Mix shafts have a special tip on them that only works with an I-Mix head. But those shafts are the exact same as the ones not made for I-Mix, and the I-Mix is more expensive because of that special tip.

Here's what I play:

Titleist 907 D2 10.5* UST ProForce V2 76-S | Titleist 906F4 18.5* Aldila VS Proto "By You" 80-S | Titleist 585H 21* Aldila VS Proto "By You" 80-S | Titleist ZB 4-PW TTDG S300 | Bob Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 54.10 | Bob Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 60.08 | Scotty Cameron Red X5 33" |

Oh sorry.. I thought +11 means im 11 over par.. sorry.

I couldn't find the same version as the I-Mix one though, It might be a newer one so I just might have to wait till next year
