Well, I've been dying to hit some balls recently, and with the lack of time from my thesis and the season ending real soon, desperation has set in. I was looking at this pc simulator by electric spin. ( http://www.electricspin.com/ ) Has anyone tried this particular product before? My game has suffered since going back to school because I can't set up my hitting net indoors and just swing at random times to keep it grooved. I do have enough room to swing a club, just no place for a net setup. It would also be fun to play the included tiger woods video game.

I've been having problems finding a dependable review as well because there are comments on both sides of the product. From what I can tell, half these people are golf illiterate and the other half are computer dummies who aren't paying attention to the settings. Just a little background on my swing, I do shape my trajectory and play a variety of different shots and I hit my 5 iron a couple yards past 200. Let me know your experiences and what you think. I'd appreciate it a lot.

I don't know...I wouldn't feel comfortable swinging a club hard at all in doors. Plus, you would need high enough of a ceiling.

    • Interesting changes. The idea of relegation and promotion have always been there in a different form (getting and losing your card etc and qualifying for bigger events) but it looks like they want to define it better for top tier events. The Tour has always had A and B level events (and even lower). It will be interesting what they choose as the Challenger Series events and whether some tournaments go to the Challenger Series that used to be prestigious. Not sure how the networks will take to this knowing they have “Challenger” Series events defined that way now. Also, I’m not happy that John Henry and Theo Epstein are involved. Look what Henry has done to the Red Sox.

    • I have been debating getting a launch monitor of some sort, if only so I can re-figure my shot zones (I haven't actually mapped them in years) and also to practice distance wedges at home.  I have to see if this works with either my current setup, or what my setup would be if I move it to the garage.
