Looking to get an Aldila Shaft. Which one should I get? I am looking to get a 55 gram stiff Aldila shaft but not sure which one to get. Any opinions would be helpful

I guess the first question you have to answer is:

Why do you want an Aldila shaft? I don't care who makes the shaft, some perform better than others depending on one's swing. A 55 gram stiff Aldila might be perfect for you. Or you might spend the next round in the woods looking for your tee shots. Or it might look like you're hitting a nine iron off the tee. If you're gonna spend the money for new shaft, spend the time to get fitted for the right one. Reif

You're probably going to hear a lot of this but:

Go to a local fitter and get fitted. They'll measure everything you need to know and recommend what's best according to your swing.

You might even try an Aldila shaft but get better results with a Fujikara shaft or something. This is just my opinion and my answer was based on your general post. If you post up your swing speed, etc. We might be able to give a more detailed answer.

ok I dont have a local fitter and the only place there is a place that fits only ping and I tried a shaft today and I like it. I have a proforce right now but its just a little heavy so I am going to a lighter shaft

What driver do you have? Because if you have newer model drivers made by callaway, nike, ping, and maybe taylormade it is very easy to find a proshop of driving range that have "I mix" type drivers used for fitting that will help you decide on what shaft preforms best. Hope that helps

Ok. Since the answers we gave you were too stupid, just get the NVS then.

Get the Voodoo shaft since you are a 5.3 index... you should be able to manipulate it really well... or you could go all out and get the Proto.

In that case I would suggest the aldilla proto vs ( the light blue one) I was trying it out on the range and with my swing it was giving me a high draw, by the way what is wrong with your old shaft.

If you know which one you used and you like it... why would you ask us? Every thread you start is a question with no detail at all... then you proceed to jump all over people that try to get more information and give you solid advice. Maybe you should start making some sense.

Shotstop. Really, dont be all pissy gay man in this thread, thers no need for it, people are trying to help, and your being an idiot about it

A) What gram was your prvious driver? if it was too heavy, adn you were playing a 83 gram, then you getting a 55 gram would be stupid.

B) You havent even said which proforce you use, V2, v2 Hl, etc,

C) your not helping yourself at lal here, you already know the shaft you like, so why not go buy it?

So shotstop, my thing for you is, ask dumb questions, get dumb asnwers.

So please, provide some information before you get all childish again.
