On a related note, who else has noticed that Miguel Angel Jimenez is gradually losing syllables from his last name?

Jimenez is easier to pronounce. "He - men - ehz".

Hilarious! I didn't know everyone was so interested in this...LOL. I just always figured they were butchering his name, which now sounds like it was preferred by the man himself.

So does this conclude that "LL" in Spanish not just pronounced as "Eh-Yeh" but "Eh-Jeh?" That would mean Armadillo in spanish is then pronounced "Ar-mah-dih-jo" ???

You wonder if the announcers got it right. Like when they pronounce "TJ Houzmanzada" (on the NFL Bengals) as "TJ Whos-Your-Mama"
